Dustin is 17 years old. His mother died when he was 4, and he lived in foster care for a few years, then bounced back from housing with his dad and his aunt. His dad has anger issues and Dustin was often starved, beaten and at some point sexually abused. Dustin dropped out of high school and has a record of robbing a store, pulling knives on people, fighting and Internet hacking. He cuts himself, but after being yelled at by his cousin about it, he started drinking and poping pills instead. Sometimes he can't stay with his aunt, so he sleeps outside and uses the money he does have to help stray animals, and eat. He saved a dying cat, and works part - time at a fast food restaurant.
