It seems to me that first the men swallowed the lie that men and women are just the same and have the same desires and that gender is just a social construct. That’s why so many inexperienced men think they can just be nice to a woman and then she’ll want to sleep with them. Men find niceness and kindness, in other words femininity, attractive in women; so they assume women must feel the same way. Similarly, inexperienced men assume that an average-looking guy can just post a simple ad looking for casual sex on a dating website or Craigslist, and women will actually respond to it.

Now it seems that women have swallowed the lie too. For example, there are now so many single thirty-something women who are banking on the assumption that having an awesome career is as hot to men as it is to women. Then they go nuts when they see that thirty-something men with awesome careers are going for twenty-something women who are hot. “Why can’t he go for a woman his own age?” asks the woman who has built an awesome career but in all that time has developed little knowledge of men.

getting a date? getting laid ? (excluding paying for sex) I hear that the undesirable women and average looking women have a harder time getting dates and laid , but I think that is because the undesirable women's standards are astronomically high compared to undesirable average looking men . Even fat chicks standards are super astronomically higher than fat men . But I also know that is average looking, and undesirable men are the only ones who get ridiculed and accused of having unusally high standards, and told that they are acting entitled , but when average looking/ undesirable women have extremely high standards, no one ever tells them that they are acting entitled or their standards are too high. Why is that?
