My ex broke up with me kver the phone we had a great night the last time we hung out we almosy broke up before but he stopped it i said okay i agree with you but he didn't want to let me go i guess then a week later he does it over the phone said i seriously dont want to be with you he was angry and he said he didn't want me to know where he was or to contact him i said i agree again but i really want him back buthis dad said he seemed happier to my father and then his dad said to me he's selfish and for me to move on there's better men out there im confused why he did this its like he played with my head we haven't spoke since December 21 i haven't tried to contact him since he said what he said i usually have in the past is he trying to move on or do you think eventually he may contact me he just wants space we were together almost 2years we have broken up in the past but always got back together this time its the longest we have gone no talking he won't speak go me thou i haven't tried though and i usually have been the one in the past and he's come back everytime he always was the one to leave i love him and dont get why he does this will he realize

So my boyfriend got a new job and has had the last two weeks off. He has an issue with needing space and therefore every couple of days we spend a day a part. Since he had has time off he has been meeting people for lunch everyday and making plans most evenings. I have kind of just been filled in when he is done with his day. It was fine with me at first because I want him to catch up with people and have good friendships. The past Monday I got really sick from a proceedure I had gotten done and asked if he could bring me food. He told me he had some errands and was going to work out, but would let me know when he was done. Around 5:00pm he texted me saying he was going drinking with his friends that night. This really bothered me bc I felt awful and he should help take care of me or at least check on me. He went on his way and still didn't check on me that evening. The next day he let's me know he is going drinking again at a bar to watch the football game with a buddy. I also get a text shortly after that he has also made plans for the following day to have a guys night. Mind you he never goes out with me let alone really drinks with me. So all I am thinking is we have plans to go out nye and he may be burnt out by then. Sure enough he was. I got frustrated and told him it's kind of sad how little I have seen him since he has gotten all of this time off and he immediately throws in my face that I hate his friends and it's always a problem when he goes out with them. I tried to explain saying I was sick and you went out and didn't even ask how I was. So we didn't go out nye and new years we sat away from each other and didn't really hang out. So today I ask him if he will go out with my friend and I and he said no way. Even though he knows how much I hate going out without him if I'm not with a big group. Also he said he had a lot to do today and didn't know when he would be done. When I try to talk to him he gets very defensive. What are your thoughts?
