I met this guy back in December but we were both drunk and ended up sleeping together but neither of us could remember much. The following morning we had a long chat in bed and we liked each other and he suggested to start all over again and pretend nothing happened and go on a proper date. Second date was perfect until we got drunk again and went to his place, had sex but wasn't great. We texted each other for a day but he stopped answering. I texted him again a few days later just to check but no reply so I decided to leave him alone. Back from Christmas holidays in January I saw him a couple of times around campus but we ignored each other. Later in February someone pokes me in the library and it's him. He apologises and tells me that he was still trying to get over his ex but now everything is fine and ask me for a start over coffe. I say yes why not and wait for him to contact me in the following days but he doesn't. Then he contacts me because I was looking for tickets for an event and he tried selling them to me. I decline because he disappeared and he says he was just very busy. A week later or so he texts me again and asks if I want to go to his place for a movie but I think that's just a booty call and decline, later he finds me still awake and says "I honestly just want someone to spoon and talk shit with" which made me think he only wanted sex. Few days later he contacts me again and ask me if I want to go for a countryside walk instead so I thought maybe he's interested in more than sex but it was late so we end up going to a bar instead and drink a beer but we talk about a lot of stuff, our interests, music, politics, travelling he's fun and we have a good time. We go to his place and he cooks dinner but then we end up having sex again but this time it was good. It's playful and while joking I tell him he's just an asshole but he says he isn't. I wait for him to text me the next day and he does but today he hasn't texted me yet and I don't know if I should.

Ok so let me cut this short and give you the basic info:

- seeing each other for just over a year now (twice a week with sleepovers)
- talk pretty much every day (every second on occasion// talk on the phone up to an hour most calls)
- we've met each other's families and friends (he lives out of home, I don't)
- amazing sex
- we go out for dinner, movies, sporting matches and events
- he asked me "to be his Valentine ❤️😉"
- we've both admitted that we can be 100% ourselves around each other
- I said yes then Sunday we went to a beach party and danced together closely, laughed, kissed and had a few drinks.
- for Christmas he got me a little miss magic plush toy

do you this he likes me from this info? What do you think? Yes no, why/ why not?

here are some things I would do for him while we were dating for two and a half years:

-advent calendars with little presents leading up to holidays, big gift on the day of the holiday
-care baskets with his favorite snacks, drinks and candy
-cookie cakes for his sport events/birthday
-handmade cards
-baked/cooked for him
-bought him clothes and food
-christmas/halloween/easter baskets
-gave him picture frames of us
-planned fun dates for us (movies, dinner, holiday themed dates, movie nights, etc.)
-made him a scrapbook with pictures of us
-decorated gingerbread houses, carved pumpkins, went apple picking and ice skating together (my idea always)
-cleaned his room for him

he used to always say he was so lucky to have me and he was never going to find anyone like me and he would refer to me as the "wifey".

I did all this, as well as other thoughtful things, and I ended up getting cheated on and dumped. now he doesn't even want to be a part of each others lives. he says he has no feelings and he has moved on and is into partying and being single.

why did he end up taking me for granted? will he regret this one day when he realizes how special I was and how much I loved him?
