I've known my boyfriend for 5 years but we have been officially dating/in a relationship for the past 6 months. We've been distant friends over the years prior to dating.

Lately we have had a lot of talk about long term future goals and what we want to come out of this relationship etc. We also talk about how we both want kids someday.

Well on Friday night we had sex a few different times (I'm on the pill and take it on time every day) but I know the pill isn't 100%. My boyfriend lately keeps asking to go inside of me. I said that it was fine because I love knowing that he gets to feel the best possible when he goes inside of me. However, afterwards when we were laying in bed I asked him if he has every thought about me getting pregnant based on what we are doing. He said he has thought about it a lot and if it happens then it happens. It wouldn't be the end of the world as he put it.

We talked about it further that we are both at points in our lives with our careers etc that if it were to happen then we would be able to handle it. He knows that I prefer to be married then have children as well. We have a good thing going but I just was surprised he was ok with if we had an oops happen not planned.

Guys, does this mean you are very serious if at 25 years old you would be ok with an oops happening?
