Please help me out with this. My brain is going to explode because i can't stop thinking about this. I don't know if she actually likes any of us, but i notice that this girl (that i really like) acts really different when she's with her friend (which is a guy) and when she's with me, so it's really confusing for me to figure out if she prefers me or that guy.

When she's with me: she gets shy and doesn't talk much; she almost never makes eye contact with me and when she does she brakes it immediately; when i try to make conversations with her she answers me with really short answers and acts uninterested, cold and distant but sometimes she strikes up conversations with me and acts nicer and sweeter; she doesn't react when i try to flirt with her; she doesn't laugh much when i tell jokes; she avoids me and ignores me sometimes; i catch her staring at me (with a blank face, no smile) quite a few times and she looks away when i look at her (she has no idea i like her, i swear); she called me cute once; she remembers a lot of the things i tell her even if i said it a long time ago; she's always saying that i'm really smart (she's actually smarter than me); we don't talk or hang out outside school

But with her friend: she laughs at all of his jokes (and they're pretty lame, honestly); she talks to him everyday; she hangs out with him A LOT; they text each other often; she mentions him in many conversations; he invited her to prom (we're in high school) and she accepted; she's always nice to him and flirts with him a lot; they always 'like' each other stuff on facebook,...

I just wanna know if i have any chances with her. I really like her and i feel like she likes me too (i got that gut feeling) but she's so nice to that other guy that it makes me feel like maybe she's not interested in me at all. Plus, i'm shy and have low confidence issues so it makes it even worse.

OK so I'm a senior in high school, and I have prom a month from now. Recently, I've noticed my old classmate (that's a girl) goes to the same church as me. Sometimes when she see me she would say hi, and I would say hi back and sometimes I would start a little mini conversations that would last a minute and we would go our separate ways (although she does seem a little enthusiac when she see me). Last Saturday, we went to zapzone for our church outing for the seniors and me and my friend would hang would her group to have a good time. Near the end, I told my friend I think I should ask her and I did. She said "yes" and was very willing to go and we exchanged numbers. My thing is she's going to her prom at her school with someonelse first, I know she doesn't Have a bf so does that mean she might like me?
