Im recently single
Was in a long-term relationship with my ex boyfriend for over 4 years
So moved back to my parents place

So my best friend (of 15 years) wants to find a new place
Since her current place has weird housemates

And so she suggested to us to find a place and move in together

I agreed

But she told me her rules:
- when I get into a new relationship, my boyfriend cannot move in with us.. even if me and him are getting serious
- my boyfriend can sleep over but not every night

Then when I said "oh if he wants me and him to move in together when we are getting serious.. then I will just move in with him"

Then she replied "what? Are you serious? You are ditching me for him?"

Now im hesitating to move in with her

she's never been in a relationship before

Am I right to be hesitant?

Me and my ex where together for 7 years was a perfect relationship but when our son was born our relationship started to crumble , we stopped having sex and we fought a lot. Our baby wasn’t planned and he had planned on going traveling before I found out.

He ended things with me and I was devastated It’s been 10 months. And since the Corona I was kinda hoping he would change his mind and want to get back together.

I found out today through a friend that he started seeing a girl the last few weeks and apparently he is really into her. She broke up with him because he had a little baggage but since then they got back together.’ Apparently this girl is everything I’m not, 4 years older, fully career driven and has no kids. The reason he hasn’t told me about her is he wants me to move on before he breaks the news. I can’t say anything either our friend asked me not too.

I feel like this girl is getting in the way of me putting my family back together. I feel my ex should do what’s best for our son. I kind of feel that I should get in contact with this girl and tell her she is breaking up a family. I am just so hurt.

When we first started hanging out I told him we could just be friends with benefits. He begged me for 15 days for a relationship and when I found out I was pregnant he didn't want me to get an abortion. He said he wanted to be a family so I kept the baby. But then he was mistreating me during my pregnancy and trying to get back with his ex while I was pregnant by him. Now he resents me and the baby and said I trapped him, like wtf?
