I have been a long time proponent that online long distance relationships are over before they even begin. Not trying to be negative just its what I have seen. I am in one now and will see her in 30 days but talking is increasingly difficult and I need help since I am admittedly bad about this kind of situation.

She likes me, we were High School acquaintances that still have friends today who introduced us. I was told she had a crush on me way back when and she talks nervously now so I don't doubt that is true. What I remember of her I like her and more importantly like the woman I am talking to now problem is the conversation level with her is very new and fragile.

She doesn't want to talk about real world things openly but wants to play "what would you do" or "what is your favorite this that or the other" which has just lately evolved into her just just wanting to have me ask her endless random questions like "Do you ever sing in the shower, if so what song sounds best" which is starting to make me feel more like entertainment then a relationship.

This is to both girls and guys but early relationship topics where text is the only means what is important to remember, what is good or not good to talk about. Is she really into me and the nervousness a sign or is this atypical to just want to talk about random factoids? How long does it usually take you to get comfortable talking online to someone who you haven't meet in a long time but has been veted by friends.

Thanks I am starting to really like her and don't want to screw this up.
