I hate to admit but I am a deadbeat. I have no education, work at a dead end job making $21/hour, and I live with my parents. I have absolutely nothing going for me. The reason for this is because I’m borderline mentally handicapped. I was in special Ed classes in school. I had to upgrade after to get a high school diploma. I attended college after the upgrade but didn’t pass. That was 10 years ago. Now my parents are old and on their last breath. I don't know what I’m gonna do when they pass. I know I need an education but if I didn’t pass when I was young, how will I pass now?

My current relationship situation is really bad. Due to low self esteem I’m in a relationship with a woman who doesn’t respect me. All she does is yell at me, verbally abuse me, and emotionally hurt me. Also, I believe she is cheating on me. She’s always talking about her guys friends who she’s too close to. But I stay with her because I struggle with loneliness and my options are slim to none. Plus I’m so emotionally invested the thought of her with another guy hurts me. Sometimes she doesn’t talk to me for days and I get depressed and stop eating. Any suggestions on how I can better myself?

For a long time I was hung up on one particular ex. I thought she was the one who got away and it was completely my fault the relationship ended. But only a few months ago I found out she had cheated on me right before she broke up with me.

At the time i thought she just came to end of the rope with her patience w/ me. Although I saw the end coming the way she acted afterwards (we had to stay in contact for a few reasons) was next level nasty. I was hung up for a very long time on some of nasty things she said.

But as it turns out she was a cheating whore and needed to do mental gymnastics to self justify her bullshit.

Truth is if she just would of confessed to me then I would of moved on much faster. I would of been pissed but it would of helped see her in a different light.

Ironically I purposely acted semi douchey (didn’t cheat though) towards of the end of the relationship because I too didn’t want a relationship. However she was deeply in love and I knew cutting it off when she saw me as some sort of God send ideal would devastate her. I couldn’t get myself to do that.

I learned a hard lesson not to trust anyone after that. But seriously it’s probably better to tell someone the ugly truth. She was too much of a cowardly selfish piece of shit to do that.
