Search Results: too shy to say we like each other

I would like some advice on my situation.
I have met this great guy online who lives 44 mins away but still is willing to drive to me. I have already slept with him on date 2, but everything has stayed the same way and nothing has changed. I asked him if we are still dating or looking for other people still and hanging out. He says he replies and says that he is taken but still may talk to them and wants to 'expand his horizon' or 'find people more like him' which he has quoted before. I'm really confused and wonder if I should drop this guy? Is he worth it? It would be easy for either of us to cheat on each other and I'm starting to like him a lot and don't want to before it's too late.

I even went via bus to his town and slept with him and he didn't even say he wanted to be together... maybe thats just low of me to think?
But he even said he wants to go volunteer at Australia already :/ I'm starting to think he just views me as a friend, even though he keeps saying he cares about me or I'm the only one or he's 'taken' and uses cute names and shows interest but it's kind of like the interest is there but isn't there. He is a shy guy.
This really sucks.

I don't want to mistake the chance of dropping a great guy.

I really like this guy from work. We work for different teams, so we don´t interract work-wise. I noticed from my first day at work that he is noticing me and checking me out. Back that time, I was seeing somebody, so I didn´t reciprocate. One day we were both late at work and he introduced himself in elevator. Since that day we started to say hello to each other. I can see that he blushes when he sees me and often is very nervous. Once I didn´t notice him and it looked like ignoring, so he started to ignore me and even acted offended (looking away when I tried to make an eye contact). After I initiated a small talk with him, he greets me and smiles.

This week I started to notice that he stays late at work (I always work in the evening as I prefer to arrive later to work) and even his colleagues started to mock him for that, like "What´s going on with you? You didn´t used to work that late". There are also more signs that he may like me, but he´s never texting or didn´t add me on facebook. Never initiates anything - when I smile, he smiles back, when I say hello, he does too, etc.

Do you think he´s shy or just not interested and I´m just projecting this in my head? Why would he behave this way?
