I was 16 the last time he tried going crazy on me (as the abusive, alcoholic and cheating POS he's always been), I hit him in the head with a lamp, knocking him out.
Thing is I was going to do something stupid right after that if it wasn't for my mother and brother restraining me. They took away the butcher knife I was going to stab him with. My mother divorced him right after that horrible scene.

I thought that was over but I've been having issues relationships (both long-term) over the years. One of them ended after we got into an argument and I started breaking many household items. Last relationship, I admit to following him during an argument (I first got a hold of his arm but he broke free from my grip) outside all the way to the parking lot. He got into his car and drove off.
It's like something in me snap and I get mood swings sometimes. Not always though. Is my father responsible for turning me into this mess?

My own mother has said a couple times that I'm becoming my father. I'm not an alcoholic though (never drank nor smoke) but it's just the mood swings.
