When I was pregnant with my boyfriend of three months baby, all he did was tell me what to do, where to go and get mad when I was with friends. he threatened to call the movie theater I was in cause I didn't wanna text him during it, cursed my friends out on Facebook and said I was irresponsible to hang out with them. he sat on his ass doing nothing and wanted me to look for apartments, etc pregnant and all. he was in a bad living situation but wasn't stepping up and treating me like crap.

I feel he used my pregnancy as a crutch too "im the father of your to be child and my opinion doesn't matter!" and "your a lying **** I know you're with your friends" and once he got mad at me for no reason and said "were done abort the baby". but of course he really wanted the baby and became obsessed with my every action.

it got so bad, I was frightened and decided to go against my pro life morals and get an abortion. after two whole months he wasn't manning up or helping me and my dreams of NYU graduate school would be over for him. I didn't want my child to suffer this lifestyle with him as a dad and (my boyfriend drinks a lot too) feared that he didn't really care about me or the baby. he could have been using it for a way out.

When he found out I had one, he stayed with me but then called me a murderer. he said "now that you killed it, my uncle won't feel bad and give me a job...now that you killed it, my mom won't let me stay with her and she's kicking me out"

His words totally verified my belief of him using me, what do you think about this? His own mom who's pro life said I made the right choice cause her son isn't responsible, he's a user and treats people like sh*t.

Do you think he genuinely cared about me and the baby or was using it to his benefit? (day I found out I was pregnant, I cried and he don't even comfort me and said "well I'm out of the army now" and didn't even care I had to give uo school)

With scores of dating books discussing whether it is or is not okay to ask guys out (it's split about 50/50), I would like the general consensus on how guys feel. Do you feel comfortable being asked out by a woman? What about a close female friend? Is it awkward, a confidence boost, or just a shock? Will it hurt my chances of seriously dating the guy in the future?

I have a close guy friend that I really like. We're flirty, are able to talk easily and openly, and he initiates some insane amounts of physical contact whenever we're together, as well as your standard witty banter. Letting him know it was a date, I casually asked him out to a movie over the weekend (via text- I was scared of rejection). Since he previously said he was scared of being rejected, and had mentioned that he wouldn't mind being asked out by a girl... my question is, how good are my chances that he wants to date *me*? He said "yeah, why not". But now I'm unsure of how to handle the situation. I want to still act like the girl, but am I supposed to pay, do we meet at the theater, etc.? I don't normally ask out guys, but this one admitted his fear of rejection. The gender roles are kinda switched now, so I'm in new territory.
