Lots of people said even though the chances of us seeing each other again aren't very high, I should write him a goodbye letter and explain my feelings and wish him well. I won't type it all out, just give a summary and you boys let me know if its good, baf or whatever.

I started off by saying I'm not good and hate goodbyes (all true) and tried to lighten the mood by saying he's probably glad I had to do it by letter so he doesn't have to deal with a blubbering female.

I said I would miss him and hoped he would think of me sometimes. I then said he was probably nervous by all the changes but (I names several good qualities') those would ensure he does well and makes new friends. I made to sure to tell him he was always welcome to visit or email or call.

I then went into my feelings for him and said I didn't blame him for not feeling as I did and I only wish for his health and happiness. I ended with lots of hugs and my signature.

I work as a hostess at a restaurant and we recently hired a new server who is a quiet type, lets's call him Z. I am shy and usually don't outwardly show that I think a guy is attractive, in fact I think I become more unapporachable when I am attracted to a guy as a defense mechanism. After a week of him working he came up and talked to me close to closing time when there was no one around. He seemed very interested in me. I mentioned that I had interviewed for an internship the day before and he was very adament that I would get the position, like I would not have expected anyone but a good friend to be that positive and supporting. We talked for about 10-15 minutes and we seem to have stuff in common and I feel comfortable talking to him.

Some key points: He is quiet and does not talk to other staff at the restaurant about himself or ask them personal questions. All times we talked he has come up to me and started the convorsation (as a hostess I have a certain spot I stay in). He seems genuinely interested in what I have to say and smiles a lot when I talk to him, where he usually has a neutral expression. He mentioned that he was single. I am 20 and he is 22.

Here's the deal - I am leaving my job in two weeks. How do I figure out if he likes me and what should I do to lowkey show him that I am interested. I don't have a facebook or other social media, so I need to get his number or to have him ask me for mine. Any advice or comments is hugely appreciated!
