In real life, the internet, media... etc its obvious that women like good looking men, like really like them and its probably easier to get laid if you're good looking... but what about a serious relationship?

I read it in so many forums and even asked some girls in real life and they all give the same answer... good looking guys attract lots of women, they usually have experience with women, they can get women easily, and simply put women are not very interested in being with a guy like that , a guy that has options and if he chooses he can leave... sometimes i find it to be just a bunch of bull.

other times i look at myself and my friends, we're all fairly good looking guys and get complimented, and started at by women often, not to mention hit on sometimes... but having anything serious and meaningful seems rather hard, either women dont give us the time of the day, and when they do they dont seem interested in anything serious and want to boost their self esteem... when we look around we see all these average and bellow average guys with gfs, and sometimes even hot ones, and we can't help it but wonder what they have and we dont, esepcially when some of these guys have personalities as bland as their looks and aren't that rich or popular... so what makes women choose average men over attractive ones when all other stats are equal?

Been in the dating scene for the past 7-8 years, like every guy out there at first i thought that love, compassion and attention will get you the girl, since i saw some guys making it work... turns out these guys either seriously lucked out out or had other attractive qualities "money" .

In reality the dating scene was a little more complicated than showing love and attention to get women, i once ignored a girl whom i had feelings for and for some reason she decided to not pursue anything with me any further, and i was surprised when she came to me a while later asking why do i avoid her and showing far more interest in me than before... my first ex i almost showed no interest in and never considered dating or flirting with her but after a few text messages (she messaged me) we ended up going on a date and dating for a while, my now ex acted weird and distant at first, so i ignored her, she started pursuing me harder and finally i told her i have no interest in girl who acts like she does (she is hot by the way ) ... the result? dated for 3 months, she probably even left her boyfriend to date me.

between these two gfs i met plenty of women be it at college or out of college, and what i noticed was that showing any kind of attention in women almost always led to them losing interest in me, when i acted distant and made no effort i had compliments and interest from all kinds of girls and they werent shy about showing it, showing little to no interest in women has helped me a lot and i still can't figure out why is it like that?

There’s a girl at work that got fired today. I used to flirt with her and she flirted back but she would also distance herself from me. I have a girlfriend and going to prom with her next month and I’m kinda on and off with her. The girl from work has a boyfriend or so she says maybe she was trying to make me jealous I don't know she’s kinda weird. She’s hot and has an attitude and is confident. My mom also works at the place I work at. My mom doesn’t really like her. She gives almost everyone dirty looks or maybe has resting bitch face I don't know. Anyways shit hit the fan when she received an Easter basket from me (had my name on it) by her car on Saturday and she was showing everyone at work it on Sunday including a girl who goes to my school. Girl from my school asked me about it and I have no idea what she was talking about. Girl at school knows my girlfriend. I told my mom about it just to get feedback on what to do. Anyways both of us were scheduled to work today - I was PM and she was AM/PM. Well they fired her before I got there. I receive a text about an hour ago that said “Hey Tyler - thanks for the Easter basket lol” I never gave her my number and have no idea how she got it. I didn’t respond. People at work questioned me about it and I said I never left her an Easter basket and they said that’s so weird. Also weird how she got fired for being late too many times just randomly out of the blue today. I think my mom might’ve said something to HR I don't know. This girl at work and I have flirted on an off for 4 months now. I honestly don’t know how she got my number considering she doesn’t have any friends there and I never gave any of my coworkers my number. I don’t know what to do.
