(I NEED OPINIONS) I've been friends with Francis* sincehigh school. We met during prom. After prom, wed send messages back & fourth & we would even talk on the phone till we fell asleep. When I went to college, we stopped talking. I met a friend that lives near Francis’ house. we went to his house then the three of us started hanging out together. I knew at this point that my crush for him never went away so one night, while talking to him I finally had the courage to tell him how I actually feel. He just teased so I decided to never bring up the idea again. Nothing changed, were still doing the same stuff. We even went out to watch a movie with his fam. This was our 1st PDA. I placed my head on his shoulders &he was cool about it. Now I have a serious relationship for almost 3 years. Francis and I stopped talking. last Oct 2, I greeted him a happy birthday&we started talking again. I went to his house and we talked & played ps4. He placed his head on my lap-vice versa. it was getting late, he asked if I wanted to sleep at his place that night & I said yes. He gave me his clothes and we shared the same bed. He also gave me a beer but nothing happened. Come Friday, I went to his house again. We did the same thing &I placed my head on his lap. He even cooked for me. I stayed for the night and we watched movies. We were laying down while my head is on his arms. But he said we shouldn’t be doing it because I have a boyfriend. Then when my back is turned towards him he would put his arm around me and whisper what’s wrong. While I’m watching horror movie, he said he’d sleep but whenever there’s a scary part he’d tell me to not look. He also grabbed my hand because I was too scared. Morning comes we talked about my boyfriend. He said that if I’m unhappy, I should break up and he also told me “So you like me, what’s wrong with that.” While I’m crying because I like him and not my boyfriend.

My boyfriend and I have been together 7mths and living together for 2mths. He technically still has his place because his mum is moving to live in it from overseas soon. He is hardly ever there now that he lives with me, sometimes he will go there to make sure everything is OK and check the mail.
About 2 years ago he had a drinking problem but ended up getting help and getting his life back on track. At the start of our relationship he did say he had a handle on it but I was to tell him if I felt he didn't need that extra social drink. Haven't really had to step in because he controls it reasonably well without going overboard.
On Sunday we were at home, him, me and my daughter watching a movie on Netflix. The guy in the movie was drinking beer so my boyfriend asked if I wanted a beer with him, thinking that he had just had a beer the night before when we went out and also thinking he didn't really need one I said no for me and told him I didn't think he should be having another one either. His mood changed instantly into a downer and he ended up lying on the couch sulking like some teenager.
When the movie finished I asked him what was wrong, he sulked and said nothing. I asked him if it was because I said no to the beer and he admitted it was. I expressed my concern and reminded him that he wasn't in a position due to his past drinking problem to just be Willy Nilly cracking open an alcoholic beverage whenever he felt like it. Reminded him of all he lost 2 years ago and didn't want that to happen in his life again. He got up and tipped down the sink every single bottle of alcohol we had in the house then stated he was going out for a few hours. I texted him to see if he was OK and asked him where he went. He said he was at the pub having beer. I told him I was disappointed and that if he came home drunk to sleep on the couch. He came home and slept on the couch hours later, didn't come home to eat dinner with us. This is the first time he has behaved this way.
