Guys, Boyfriend laughs at my sleep farts? Lol?

While I'm awake, I refuse to fart in front of boyfriend under any circumstances lol. He finds it really funny that we've been together for 3 years and I still haven't done it a single time. He tells me he would find it cute because he knows I wouldn't do it in front of anyone & he wants to be the exception to the rule. To know that I feel comfortable around him. Well we moved in together a few weeks ago and that's when the embarrassment began lol. I sleep before him most nights because he likes staying up & watching movies. I sleep at around 10:00. This morning he told me that I fart in my sleep sometimes. I was mortified! He heard me while he was watching TV next to me in bed and said he left the room so he wouldn't wake me up with his laughing. He thinks it's hilarious and even funnier that I find it embarrassing! He recorded it once on his phone & gives me so much crap for it. I'm so shy about it that I don't wanna fall asleep before him so he doesn't hear it. He tells me it's adorable because they're "tiny & innocent" whatever that means lol but I hate that it happens. He says it's funny because he never heard it before. Guys, why does he tease me about it so much?

Same as you, I get really embarrassed too. My wife is the same, she reads after I go to sleep and will just lay there totally laughing at me! While it is embarrassing, it's no big deal and EVERYONE does it! You just have to shrug your shoulders and laugh it off. The more you make a big deal about it, the more he'll think it is funny to tease you.

Yes! I think my reaction makes it funnier to him but I can't help it because I'm always mortified! Lol. If we hadn't moved in together he would have never witnessed any of that lol

Trust me, it happens to everyone! Mortified is a good word because I try so hard to be private for that stuff too. Ultimately, she finds it adorable and cute and in a weird way it brings us closer together and she loves me more. It's the same with you too. No worries.

you shouldn´t :D you see peoples socialization is largely different. depends on your family. either farts are a huge "no no" and disgusting in your family and then you´ll feel like that too or you grow up in a family where people fart on each other and laugh. you shouldn´t feel embarrassed.

If you seriously want him to stop I am sure he will. If it bothers you he probably just doesn't know it bothers you. Dont do a jokey 'hey stop it' but just tell him strait up that you dont appreciate it.
