Guys, Moved in with my boyfriend and farted in my sleep?

So my boyfriend and I have been living together for five months after dating for 3 years and I accidentally farted in my sleep just the other day! It's the first time he's ever heard anything like that from me and I really want to avoid it because it's SO EMBARRASSING. I just remember waking up the next morning and he was awake working away on his laptop beside me in bed. When I made eye contact with me he had this smug smile like he knew something I didn't. When I asked him why he looked so amused he said that I had farted in my sleep and he kept giving me so much crap for it. He was good-natured about it and was even able to make me laugh but I was so embarrassed that I blushed like I've never blushed before! He even went into detail about it and described the sound of it and everything! I know he's just fooling around with me because he realizes I'm mortified but I can't stop thinking about it. How do I get over my embarrassment? We sort of had an ongoing joke that I don't fart because he never heard it from me in all the years we dated and now that it has slipped I can't go back to that illusion lol :P How do I stop his constant teasing? :( He assured me that it's fine but still doesn't skip any opportunity to poke fun at me over it. Why?

After did much time together, he was probably waiting for it to happen. The reason he keeps giving you a hard time about it is because he knows it was embarrassing for you and because of how long it took to finally happen. Don't worry about it. He doesn't care. He just likes they way it bothers you when he makes jokes about it.

Well I would think he's just trying to have fun with it but you can always tell him how uncomfortable it makes you. Being a guy, I can tell you that unless you just say it, he probably won't pick up on any signs you're giving him to stop. Otherwise, he will wear the humor out eventually. It's just a matter of time

He farts all the time in front of me and isn't embarrassed about it at all ahaha. But everyone who knows me has never heard me fart before and so it's completely mortifying! He said he was waiting for the day it happened so he could make fun of me :( So embarrassing

I can understand how you feel. If you can't beat him, join him. Everyone farts, male or female. It is a natural noise, so make something of it! Have a hot curry or two and then hold his face against your bum while you give him some serious thunder from down under!

Hahaha :) I could never do that! I think I'm going to avoid farting in front of him until the day I die because of his constant teasing. Never again! Lol :P But I do see the humour in it now lol :)

Haha i remember first time my partner farted in bed with me too she apologized sooo much felt embarrassed i gigged my head off but its one of those rare moments in relationship he will stop picking on you eventually but remember its only got good intentions behind itc
