From a very young age I've been fond of computers - programming, animation, hacking etc. In addition to that I've also been very much interested in science subjects - biology in particular. I was very much interested in becoming a doctor. Loved human psychology...
The paths forked after grade 10. When I was promoted to 11, I had to choose between Computer or Biology. I could keep one and had to ditch the other. I gave it a lot of thought & decided that if I take up biology as a career option, I could still continue with computer as a hobby. So computer became a hobby.
After 12: the time came for college admissions. There was a lot of confusion as a law was passed that a student must compulsorily appear for an exam (held annually) & qualify to pursue with medical as their career. I appeared for the exam didn't qualify. So I decided to wait & prepare for one more year for that illusive exam.

I waited. I prepared. I qualified. But still in vain. About 1.27 million students appeared for the exam, out of which 0.71 million qualified (my rank being around 0.39 million) - But only 54,000 seats are available for that course. Meaning only about 54k students get to do medicals, the rest can go home - dreams turned to dust. Now either you try until the age of 25 (age limit for the exam) to qualify or choose any other stream.
Other options - private colleges, but they're expensive. A cousin of mine enquiries for medical courses, they say: Admission fee: ₹7,000,000 ($104,626.90) Course fee (per year): ₹1,300,000 ($19,430.71) The course being 5.5years longDefinitely not affordable by an ordinary family. What I plan to do now: refer to question update I'm utterly confused. Whether or not to continue with my plan. What should I do? Your valuable advice is very much appreciated

My sister recently went to a high school gathering for a teacher she had and it so happens that my EX of about 5 years ago was there. Full disclosure there hasn't been a day in which that girl doesn't cross my mind. Point is she asked my sister if I was dating and that she heard that I was practically engaged (no idea how she heard that but so far off the case not even close). I was surprised she actually gave in to ask about me, I don't know if I could have done that. WELL all i wanted to know was why would she ask that, maybe she was just trying to make small talk with my sister since they are friends. She mentioned to my sister she did date someone in college but things didn't work out between them. I am currently dating a great girl but I've been unsure on how our relationship will go when its time to turn it into something serious such as living together because we are such different people. Im not asking for someone to tell me what i want to hear, I just want a girls honest opinion. I haven't messaged her in years last time I did I congratulated her on graduating High school she opened the message about a year later at 2 am. So I dont know if i should even try to contact her or "run into her". she's only going to be here for the summer she goes to college across the country from where I am at.
