Let me tell you the background of the story.

This summer I had a crush on a guy who works in a Supermarket.

It's not my nearest supermarket but every time I went for a walk I ended up buying the groceries there to see him.

One of the times I used the self check out machines (I always use them), my credit card didn't have enough money. He came to help me out. I was embarrassed but I handled the situation with humour. Finally and not expected at all he paid with his credit card the purchase. It was only £3.40 but I still got shock.

Anyway, I started to create a super movie on my mind so the next day with a greeting card thanking the nice gesture I put the same amount of money. He refused to take it.

I felt so horrible and rejected. So here is the two scenarios.

Which scenario it'd better?

1. He doesn't help me at all ergo I don't feel afterwards rejected.

2. The real scenario (He helps me, I create a movie on my mind and he rejectes me in a gentle way)

So one of my best friends (of 12 years) has asked me if I could apply for a loan for her
She works full time now
She just moved to a new house with her mum
Bought new furnitures
Etc
And she paid most of it
So she's quite tight with money right now and she already has a loan to pay off as well

She wanted to apply for a loan of $1000
She owes that much
But she already has a loan and nearly 50% is paid off
But the bank said for her to apply for a credit card, since she still has a loan to pay off, she can't apply for it until January next year and need 60% to be paid off

So she asked me if I can apply for a loan for her
And the repayments are $70 per fortnight
And she will transfer the money to me as soon as it's due

She has a boyfriend but she doesn't want to ask him because she's embarrased to ask him
And she doesn't want to ask her mum because she already has family issues back in their country as she's sending them money every month

I said "I don't know because it will affect my credit history in the future. I don't want stuff ups in my credit history because I might need to get a loan in the near future"

She is one of my best friends
she's been there for me everytime and so I know she's a good friend to me
But I just don't want any bad credit history that will affect what I do in the future
