if i really liked the person i would, but i think it would be hard my dad used to be in it that was hard enough so i think it would be hard for anyone to love someone when u barely ever got to see or talk to them and know that there in the military especially if they go to war then u dont know if they are even alive. this has happened a lot to lots of my family members so im just kinda used to it though

If i met someone new and they had a kid, I’d give it a try cause i love kids and i have no old ties/feelings for this “new guy”. But i honestly dont think i could date an old long-term crush who had a kid now. I realize like 80% of the guys i liked in HS all had a kid right out of HS (if even that) and I don't know it just kind ruined how i saw them before. Ig because i thought to myself, man that was posed to be us. He said he wanted to have kids with me in the future. And it doesn't stop them from trying to flirt again cause they come back and be like “Can we start from where we left off?” Bt all i think to myself is you didn't have a kid where we left off. Like i said, im not downing crushes who have kids many years later, but im talkin bout crushes/exes who have a baby like a few years after y'all ended #BabyBeMyBabyToo #BabyMeetMyBaby

I'm an Asian girl who still lives under my parents roof. I've been talking to the Mexican guy for about 4 months. I can tell he he really likes me. He likes me more than I like him. As a child my mom would always say find someone who likes/loves me more than I like/love him.
Before I told my dad I was talking to a Mexican guy I asked him if he would let me date outside of my race and he said no. When I asked for an explanation he told me "you are the farm and your significant other will be the seeds. If you plant corn, your farm will grow corn. If you plant rice, your farm will grow rice. If you plant beans, your farm will grow beans." He looks up at me then contiues "you understand what I'm saying right? im saying you can't date another race because you must keep your farm your farm. It must not change."
I tried talking him out of that but my dad is the type of guy to not change his mind. So I cut off the mexican guy once for about a week. But we ended up talking again and I need help right now.
I dont know if I should keep trying with this guy or just just stop. Another thing thst is bothering me is that he doesn't drive, he is not in college, he's working and studying to go to the marines and i want to support him but has failed the test about 4 times now.
I dont know to do and I need someone else's opionion. Right now I'm 18 and about to go off to collage in the fall. I was thinking maybe if I keep talking to him, things will get better. Help me.
