1st guy I was in a relationship for 3 years, the relationship started as friends he became my best friend there for me through thick & thin but as time went on he became selfish, not treating me as well he is also bi polar w/adhd , eventually we were off & on the relationship was hurting me & making my depression/anxiety much worse. Long story short him & I decided to part ways when we did we both tried to move on but constantly felt unfulfilled & just thought of each other. He's grown up a lot through all of this (he's a year younger than me) & over the breakup he realized none of the things he put over me was worth it. I am a priority & should come first. He finally sees all he has done wrong and apologized. He wants to be together he's even cut all his friends out to give me his undivided attention. But he's made many promises to do right by me before and didn't stick to it.. so I'm scared. He also doesn't have a job yet and doesn't come from the best environment. But he is loyal to me and I can trust him I'm just not sure if I can rely on him. I also feel nervous/unsettled around him at times. But he has my heart.

2nd guy known him for years through a mutual friend maybe 4 through xbox live? Never really got to talk much because he was always busy with basketball and school. He is a year and a few months older than me. He is in college in texas plays basketball on a scholarship and is the son of a retired nba player. When I'm with him I feel comforted and at peace, he makes me laugh and smile. He's responsible and thoughtful. He wants to take things slow to make sure he can give me what I need while he's making big decisions and busy with basketball. He aspires to be in the nba but has back up plans majoring in engineering. He's got a good head on his shoulders I just feel like a piece of me is missing when I'm "with" him and like that will never go away. I will be happy with him and supported but will always miss my ex. He also has a temper. We haven't met yet.

I broke up with my ex for various reasons because he just couldn't treat me right but he's the most amazing person and loyal. I know he does love me but he doesn't love me enough to treat me right. Should I just get over him? I cut off complete contact and then contacted him again and since then he has tried to get back with me but he has stopped now. I am now emotionally damaged because of him and really miss him. I'm trying my best to stay strong because I know if I was to go back I'll get hurt. He hurts me by saying stuff that would emotionally hurt me. I am sensitive so the littlest things hurt. I know he's a good guy but I just feel like I won't be able to find another guy like him or anyone decent 😭. People have told me to avoid speaking about him so I'll forget about him but they don't understand. Just because I don't speak about him, doesn't mean I won't stop thinking about him. I miss him. I have read that going back to the same relationship would give the same result like before. I have been with him for 4 years and supported him every time. Let go of his mistakes and forgiven him every time even when he didn't deserve to have another chance I gave him chances. He's seen me at my worst point and still stayed. I feel so comfortable around him and don't even need to try so hard to even impress him. He's just happy to be with me.

So my ex keeps getting mad at me even tho we broke up 2 month ago. when he calls he makes me cry by insulting me and hangs up on me I have the urge to call back in which I do most of the time... and I end up apologize for something I shouldn't (we aren't in a relationship) we been dating for 5 years. And he later finds out I've been on a date with a guy and blows my phone up !!! Again insulting me and telling me in how fast I've moved on. I'm seeing a guy he though I cheated on him with. He's my friend and I was never interested but he's the one comforting me and helping me get over this grief. He found out I slept with the guy. I never cheated on my ex. On top of that the brothers girlfriend and I hate each other! He asks me if I want things to work I need to apologize. This girl is the one who told people I cheated on him and he believed her over me in which hurts. To APOLOGIzE to a girl who's meddling in my relationship. Not only that she dated the brother for less than 3 years. That was my last straw... he messages me the next day "I love you"... I wait another hours and decide to call him he says he moved on and hangs up... its very toxic I know. I tell him to please stop messaging me. I blocked him but I don't know how he manages to message me. Time heals wounds right? I need advise
