Preferably guy opinions, but I'm having trouble deciding what I want to be, and I've never worn the basic sexy costumes before so I'm trying something new! My best friend is going to be an Angel so I thought maybe the devil be would cool with it. On the other hand, I feel like I'd rock the cat look better. FYI my hair isn't blonde anymore, don't know if that changes anything. Also, if neither of those options appeal to you, I'm open to other ideas as well! Thanks

am I crazy for calling my boyfriend out? or am I being paranoid? I have noticed a lot recently that my boyfriend seems like that he needs to get approval from this particular woman in a lot of things, and I haven't called him out on it until tonight, because it really bothered me with what he said.
Here's the incident that happened tonight:
I was picking out a Halloween costume. I was gong to be Beyonce. I already have a leotard and other clothing accessories in my closet and out of my own excitement I tell him, and he goes "Run it through (the girl's name) to see if she likes it or is okay with it". Out of dismay, it made me really sad, because it really seems like I can't be my own person until I get permission from this girl.

Prior incidents:
1. When my boyfriend's house is being built, he asked the same woman to go with him to design center to help him out pick the design of his house before me and I was okay with it b/c in my opinion, she has good taste, but she couldn't so I went instead (this happened December 2015)
so the incident happened yesterday, we went back to the finished house yesterday and I felt so happy because the choices turned out really well, but then he makes a comment "I wonder if (the girl's name) will like the choices I make. He just discredited me with picking the design choices of his house.

These are many other incidents where I heard "Do you think she will like this?", "I wonder what she thinks?", "I hope she approves" and so on and so forth. I can't help but feel a little hurt because I don't understand why he has to satisfy her and get approval from her? What gives? How can I handle this situation maturely without making an assumption that he secretly likes her. He said she's shallow because she's all about image but why is he feeding into it?

Note: She has a boyfriend of 4 years, and her boyfriend and my boyfriend play golf together. We go out on double dates a lot. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years.
