I wrote last year in fall about this guy on here, so if anyone wants to know please read. Long story. I had known him for 9 years from high-school, and ever since than he would keep harassing me and messaging me to force me to date him. I tried being friends with him but that was hard because I had hard time in life, had to deal with stuff and he's being saying how he would wait for me forever n I never even dated him. I told him to move on only liked him as a friend. Then almost every Valentine he would message me. etc. many guys like me but he was the creepiest to me. I finally blocked him in August 2014 on FB I know he wouldn't stop so it felt so good to block him. I had him on FB for 8 years and I was just being nice, should have done it long time ago. I thought he'd finally move on but he still kept persisting. He'd be very jealous of guys I'd date n sometimes put me down saying how those guys don't like me. I'm so happy I don't need to keep looking over my shoulder. For last vday I said hi back then he's like happy Valentine's day what your bf doing so special? He knew I don't have one so I ignored him. Plus he knew I don't feel same way. I decided to go no contact because this is too much. He sees I don't talk, ask him out, was still forceful. Move on. I'm going through same thing. Liking a guy who don't like me back. It's very hard but that's life. So he tried in August to talk to me again n I ignored him so he can get the message. Few days was his bday n I never wished him I guess he got mad n said hey your trying to be stuck up n ignore people now. Well yea Cuz you can't stop this obsesion it's creepy, if he was normal he wouldn't complain n move on. I blocked, him. 5 months, later he finds me, on instagram, follows me, never followed back. Ithink he opened it, to, find me. He never had it before he has no pics, at, all. I will block him again. That's creepy dude I blocked u on FB, why following me again. I wouldn't do that to others if they block me.

My boyfriend had an exam Friday and when I asked about hanging out on Thursday so said I don't know maybe I can't see you I'm thinking he just meant he couldn't see me Thursday cause when I asked why thats when he told me about his exam on Friday and that he knows himself he would be distracted if I was around and he had to study for his exam so I said ok basically and since he was in traffic going home and said he couldn't talk that he had to focus on driving so I asked if I could just call him back in half an hour to an hour if he thought he would be home by then he said I hope so and yes ok that would be fine if I called him then so I called in half an hour he hit ignore and I sent a text saying what? to him he said he was busy talking to someone so I said ok and tried again at 6 to give him time to talk to them no answer so I tried a couple times before I got ready for bed no answer I thought he was asleep or studying maybe so I tried once more to see before I went to bed and it went straight to voicemail without ringing I thought he turned it off so he could sleep or study but its been three days now and today I called he's able to get new voicemails again but before his voicemail was full and I ran into one of his friends the other night they said my boyfriend told him he was going to Seattle and would come back Sunday (tomorrow) he's phones going straight to voicemail again I think its because he's phone doesn't work in Seattle so I guess my question is am I overreacting? should I just wait till he's back from Seattle tomorrow and he will probably contact me? Please could really use the advice I don't mind if he goes to Seattle or anywhere but I told him after he left without saying anything for a week mind you that was an emergency with his mom and he didn't know he's phone wouldn't work there that I do worry and that I understood he's emergency so I wasn't mad just that next time he goes to Vancouver Seattle or anywhere far for a long time could he simply

My crush just got a girlfriend before I could ask him out. I really like him, so if he becomes single again soon I will tell him my feelings.

However, if this is going to be a long-term relationship, I know that I should just give up and move on. I guess what I'm asking is how long should I wait before the possibility of them breaking up soon becomes highly unlikely? (e. g. 1 month, 2 months etc.)

Some extra info: We are both uni students in our very early 20s. I'm not sure if they are dating casually or not, nor how long they have known each other for. However, he has updated his relationship status on Facebook.
