A while ago at school, I attempted to go out of our classroom because I ran an errand for my Literature teacher. The moment I pushed our classroom's door, I heard a very loud "Bang" and shocked to find out that the door I pushed hit a girl's right jaw who happened to pass by.

I really did not see her approaching because I was inside the room, hence unaware of the approaching people outside. The girl seemed to pass near our room's door, a result of the corridor being too narrow.

I felt really bad about that since it was completely unintentional, so I apologized sincerely, explaining that I didn't even see her in the first place and because it was purely an accident. She reacted furiously (which I completely understood) and resulted to... calling me a whore ("puta" was the exact word, to be honest). She told me that she wanted to punch me for a compensation and that I was ironic for asking that she was fine when I just literally hurt her.

My Literature teacher went outside to check on us and apologized in my behalf. My teacher also explained that the accident wouldn't happen if it weren't for her instruction to run an errand for her. The girl just kept her mouth shut.

Personally, I think I should take the blame because if it weren't for my carelessness, that would've not happened. I'm ready to pay for her medication if her jaw ever dislocates but I couldn't seem to mend the unpleasant first encounter I had with the girl.

However, for you, who should take the blame?
