Quiet love-- does small things to show she cares, is there whenever you need her, lets you have your freedom but trusts you not to abuse it, prefers quality time over quantity, treats the relationship like its sacred, not something to brag about to discuss with other people, may not do a lot of pda but showers you with affection when you are alone, etc.

Loud love- posts about it, professes her love to you vocally more than once, may be needy, clingy, and possessive, loves to vocalize how you are her man, "touchy-feely" whenever you are somewhere, some can be territorial, loves pda, more public about the relationship, showers you with affection in public and alone, but more so in public, etc.

Note everyone will fill every part of 'quiet' or 'loud' love-- this is just my interpretation of it. Personally, I fit into and usually show quiet love. From my experience (NOT saying this is always the case, just based on my personal experiences with guys), this works the best for men that are older and secure (work their own job, emotionally stable) and less so when the guy is my age and insecure or less emotionally stable. The last time I dealt with the latter, he claimed I didn't love him and questioned my feelings for him. He would try to 'test' me by flirting with other girls to make me jealous, but when I wouldn't react, would lash out at me. It wasn't until he broke up with me and some time passed (he dated another girl) that he realized all the things I did that proved my feelings for him and he wanted me back.

Most of my guy friends have voiced they prefer a girl that shows loud love because it shows she is proud to be with him and because they feel loved and cared for. I want to know what other guys think? Do you prefer quiet or loud love from a girl?

My husband's friend, let's call him W, is one odd duck but he's been my husband's friend since they were teenagers and mine for the last ten years. My husband says that W likes me better than him and wants me for himself. These are his reasons; when we're all together W talks to me more, he always smiles at me, he laughs at all of my jokes whether or not they're actually funny, he agrees with everything I say, he remembers every detail about me that I or my husband have ever told him, he goes out of his way to help us out in any way (something my husband says he NEVER did for him before I was around), he's always sending gifts home with my husband for me, he always asks about me when I'm not around.
Okay now here are the reasons I have for thinking my husband might be right; I recently became friends with W on a social media site and I'm pretty sure he's been stalking me (he mimics my posts and won't post at all if I don't) also, he 'likes' everything I say (but he ignores my husband completely) and he always waits exactly one hour before doing so, I've noticed that he gets extremely uncomfortable if I and my husband attempt any form of PDA even if it's just hand-holding, other male friends of ours joke around and tease him really bad when we're all together and he blushes and gets very angry until he sees how hard I'm trying not to laugh and most of all I just get this weird funny feeling in my gut when I'm around him. But I also have reasons to believe my husband might be worrying needlessly; W saw my cleavage once, just ONCE, and when he did I could tell right off that it made him uncomfortable - he left after about 2 minutes and then never came out of his room, and he acts like he's scared of ever being alone with me - he gets nervous and leaves.
So... Iis my husband just jealous or is W really trying to do what my husband thinks (I still think he could just really like me as a friend) he's trying to do? And, if so, what the heck am I supposed to do about it?

So my guy friend and I have a complicated relationship. We used to be more than friends in the past, but we never gave it a title... (and just to clarify, we've never slept together), but anyways, now that he has started dating this new girl who has been with him for two weeks, I was curious to know what guys tell their new girl friends. I saw her a few days ago and even though she has never met me she looked like she recognized me from afar, which I thought was weird because it means she has to have seen a picture of me.

A couple of other things that were a little weird: She introduced herself as my guy friend's girlfriend instead of telling me her name and asked who I was and if I even knew him. As soon as I told her my name she was like "oh, he already told me ALL about you" in a slightly rude way. I was trying really hard to be friendly and even though she was smiling and acting sweet, she was giving a bad vibe. Like when my guy friend asked me to come over so he could ask me a question, she started getting really territorial and started doing a lot of PDA in front of me (while darting glances at me).

I'm getting the feeling my guy friend has told her a lot more about me than just the basic we are friends. I was just wondering if this is normal for guys? Do you all tell your new girl friends everything about your past friendships and relationships?
