We've had a few political discussions going on around here and I'm happy to see some people who have a passion for paying attention to what's going on politically. So I'd like to bring to attention two lesser known candidates.

I'd urge everyone who plans to vote in 2012 to not even look at the Republicans or Democrats and start looking toward Gary Johnson if you're a bit more conservative (financially) or Rocky Anderson if you're a bit more liberal. Both do agree that our bigger problems tend to be corporate money influencing politics and other various things though. Both seem a MUCH better choice than any Republican Candidate or Obama. If you REALLY want to see change, really want to see things like SOPA and PIPA not come up or the lobbyists losing power over our government or real end to the endless wars and the stranglehold the military industry has over our government I'd really urge learning about them and considering them (or some of the other lesser known candidates) to vote for. We need to end this stranglehold of the two party system and we need to show our government and the media that their lies and propaganda won't work on us. That we'll help teach each other about REAL candidates and that their contributions won't stop us.

Please, give them and other candidates a thought (Ron Paul tbh is another one that I'd consider for some reasons, but there are a lot of ideas I don't really agree with him like Social Security and Income Tax and whatnot) and help spread the word to everyone you know about them. Don't try and force anyone one way or the other, just let em know of their existence and a few key points. Personally, I don't know myself who I'd vote for. I like how all the candidates I mentioned (Gary Johnson, Rocky Anderson, and Ron Paul) all are against the corporate money buying off our politicians. That's my biggest problem with our government atm. And I feel it's many others.

Please, spread the word. Let's educate our fellow citizens and try to bring a REAL Democracy back to our country not this Plutocracy that we have now.

As you can tell, I'm really trying to help spread the word, I'm spreading it everywhere I can and I'd really like to see more than our standard 2 parties that are bought get removed finally. So will you check em out? Will you spread the word?

I realize that there is a whole lot a gray area between these two positions, but if you had to assign yourself to one category which one would it be and why?

I really wanted Huckabee to win the 2008 election, and the choice between McCain and Obama felt like a lose-lose. In 2012, I definitely won't be voting for Obama after inflating the market, passing national health care (increasing taxes) and having no achievement whatsoever in lowering the unemployment rate.

I would have to say him being elected was perhaps one of the most annoying things that ever did happen. Not because I hate him-- But rather because he targeted young 18-24 year olds who knew little to nothing about politics. Hence the "Obama craze", where a bunch of college liberals would argue Obama's cause without end and without reason. Which is not to say liberals are stupid, or that only stupid liberals voted for Obama-- that's certainly not the case. Crazies exists in all sides of the political spectrum, just usually they're old. In this case, they were young, stubborn, and stupid-- a triple threat that reminded me of when that girl cried at American Idol cause she loved Sanjaya (the worst singer ever). I would equate it to some of the extremely politically uninformed people at Tea Party rallies (except they're usually old and not so loud and rude if you disagree).

Reminder: Please try to be respectful as possible to people with opposing opinions. I hate that questions like this can rarely ever be addressed intelligibly, because of people's inability to be bipartisan and/or debate something without turning it into an argument filled with petty insults. If I've send something offensive, you can tell me straight and I'll usually [try to] stop and/or correct myself.

Impeachment can only happen when a political figure has broken the law, there is much buzz around Obama's health care bill getting passed was unconstitutional and as Americans we all know that the constitution is what everything answers to.

Under the tenth amendment the states are not required to follow any non-constitutional legislation passed by the federal government and I've heard rumor that a number of states have announced they will use this to their advantage. The tenth amendment in my interpretation says the buck stops with the people, if a local community chooses not to follow a state or federal law, they are not required to (considering the proper procedure is followed) unless it is protected by the constitution.

I see two aspects of the law that could be considered unconstitutional, the first is the fact that it requires the people to buy something out of their own pocket from a private company (which was my main gripe when my oh-so-lovely home state of Massachusetts passed it's own state-run forced health care bill).

The second part is how the bill itself was passed. Reconciliation before now has been used for budget matters only, not for a huge legislation such as this.

This begs the question, if brought to court and ruled to have broken the constitution either by the clause requiring people to purchase something from a private company or by his method of getting it passed (or both), should Obama be impeached? And what about the senators who voted yes?

For the record I consider myself an independent, I am by no means either liberal or conservative as my political views come from both sides (A good example is I hate big government, but I also hate big corporation).

Hillary Clinton has spent her entire life in politics changing EVERYTHING. She has unparalleled experience and knowledge.

Here comes Sarah! She has 2 years of experience as governor. She believes creationism should be taught in school along side science. She's a lifetime member of the NRA. People call her a "reformer" but she's beyond far right conservative.

All Sarah is is a pretty face. She isn't a leader, she hasn't proven herself, she's just a pretty face McCain and the Republicans picked to make McCain look more human and to attract those who fall for this trick.

Women all over want to stop being treated like a tool for men to achieve, well, the Republicans sure don't think so. This is an ABSOLUTE insult to ALL women, ESPECIALLY Hillary.

She didn't get to be vice-president running mate because of her record, she got it because of how she looks, and that she's a woman.

WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE TREATED LIKE BILLBOARDS.
