If these were the new laws would more guys seattle down:
- No one gets 1/2 of your assets unless you were abusive (beating them up), you abandoned them with the kids or you're a cheater (having an affair child). Same thing if the woman did all that... she gets busted.
- No one can't get divorce out of boreness nor because your SO farts a lot. It must be for a legitimate reason. It must be approved and once again you get no money unless for these 3 reasons mentioned.
- If divorced for the reasons above, the guilty party will be restricted or banned from the kids and other parent gets custody. If the woman did all that... then he gets full custody.

If these rules were real, would more guys want marriage and kids?

Our father died of cancer when my twin brother and I were 6 year-olds so mom tried her best to give us all we needed.
Yet there is one thing about her that makes her so unique. If we do something wrong, she'll still call us out on it and make us do the right thing. She has this strict stance that wrong is wrong, regardless of who is the wrongdoer. She won't put up with any BS, not even if it's her own child. She applies tough love if needed. She won't sugarcoat things.

Example: When my brother cheated on his girlfriend (they were 17 at the time), my mother didn't support it. He had to confess because mom wasn't going to lie for him. According to her, lying for him means enabling bad behaviors. He lost a good girl but never cheated ever since. I thought this had something to do with gender so I asked mom if I had been the cheater would she lie for me. Her answer was an immediately ''Absolutely not, wrong is wrong''.

There was a lot of love in the home. We know she loves us dearly too but she can be tough when she gets strict. Do you think she's still too harsh and strict for not covering up nor lying for her child?
