So I've been seeing a lot of this lately, particularly in terms of how one should/shouldn't date, and honestly I thought we had dispensed with this kind of nonsense ages ago. The idea that one needs to have preference for their own "race" because if not, you are somehow shitting on your ancestors and have no pride in your race. I find that in the 21st century, this kind of thinking really should be abandoned. Personally, I don't have much of what is called racial pride. I'm not proud to be black, because i don't take pride in things that I had no hand in doing, or things that took no effort on anyones part to really accomplish.

I replace the term racial pride, with racial acceptance/appreciation. I accept myself being black, and I have an appreciation for the fact I am black and for others who look different, as it doesn't change my opinion about them one way or another. But when it comes to dating, I don't really feel obligated to have a preference for black women, like at all. I don't really have a preference for any race actually, as I tend to judge what comes my way on an individual basis. But I don't feel like I'm obligated to go out of my way to give women from my "racial group" a chance. If I like you, that's different.. but if I end up with someone who doesn't look like me whatsoever, that's within my right, whether it offends you or not.

I do believe that people have the right to have a preference for whoever they want, whenever they want and as exclusive as they want when it comes to who they date/marry. If they want to exclude a whole group of people from their possible dating pool, that's on them, and that's their right. Any consequences of that would be on them, but they aren't necessarily racists/self-haters for it. You like what you like.

The concept of racial pride only perpetuates the idea that there are multiple races to begin with imo, which isn't scientifically accurate. Feel free to comment and answer the poll

I can't help but notice that bad grammar, ignorant words, hateful statements and ridiculous things are perpetrated by the less intelligent. Is this true? I go on YouTube and see the most racist comments and the grammar is usually awful. I see a question about race and the hateful answers often have many grammatical errors. Am I the only one that sees this?

Anybody here like her? What do you think about her crush for Bill O'Reilly. Let's not forget she's part Mexican, part black, and part Barbadians. Which for all practical purposes is a black country (I know Barbados and Mexico are countries and not races). For the most part she's black. The only thing that might deter from that would be if her Mexican part is white. And yes technically we are all mixed (least I think so).

The fact that she's republican doesn't bother me. I know democrats are supposed to be more appeasing to the minority races, but if you look at the beginning of democracy you get a different story. I'm not either one to be honest though I lean toward democrat. That's besides the point though. Not really trying to talk politics.

Also, you combine this with who her partners are and her comments towards other celebs who are at least part black it makes me wonder. Does it make anyone else wonder?
