My girlfriend and me went out yesterday. Andfor about 5 years she has taken karate. She got into it with this Black girl and it got bad. They're both the same height, like 5'6, but the Black chick weighs more. So my girlfriend does a few high kicks close to the Black girls face and she backs up. Then my girlfriend aims a straight front kick at the middle of the Black chick's stomach. I was sure she had her. The Black chick had kept her hands by her sides though and my girlfriend's foot came close to the Black chick's stomach but not far enough and her foot came down and landed like a apple in a basket RIGHT INTO both of the Black chick's hands in front of her stomach and the Black chick was like😏hmph! My girlfriend was😩😩and tried to get her foot free but the Black chick cupped her foot and ankle firm with both hands so she can't. It ended with my girlfriend on her back getting sat on by the Black chick and getting slapped hard by both hands. Smh. Wtfkkkk!!! Do u Black girls believe in karate at all? I thought it woulda worked easily on that Black chick! It *should've!!* The second I saw how she just all smooth cupped both hands in front of her stomach, holding my girlfriend's karate kick foot with ease I was like😨😨?

I'm with C. The older generations were divided by major historical events when the people in them were coming of age (hence they have a descriptive title). Meanwhile X, Y, Z and alpha are sequential labels given to 15 year time intervals.

I've heard people say things like "the 9/11 attacks were the generation defining event for millennials while the coronavirus pandemic is the defining event for Gen Z" but that just sounds like slapping on post-hoc justifications tbh. If we want to divide the post 1964 generations into "meaningful" cohorts, here's where I'd start: The 07-08 financial collapse and the coronavirus pandemic should define a generation that came of age during and between those events (I'd say those born between 1987 and 2004). Early millennials should be combined with Gen X and late Gen Z should be put in alpha.
