How come people accuse me of bullying this guy at work when he is a total loser and a stalker?

There is this guy from my work that I used to go to high school with and throughout all his life he has never been able to get a girlfriend. Because of that he goes and meet these vietnamese singers in the US and tries to form either a friendship or tries to date them. He currently has his eyes set on this rising star from a viet production company in the US. He flew all the way across the country and met her and got her number and now they're texting. He showed me the texts and all of the texts where either him or her asking how they are doing or her sending him posters for shows and asking him to come see her perform. He also told me that he checks her facebook to see how long ago she was active. I told him before that she isn't interested in him and he called me a jerk. I got mad and in return I started making fun of his butt because I am his boss and he can't do anything to me. I'm the head of the structural engineer department at work and he is just a cubicle guy. My colleagues have told me that I should knock it off and says that I'm bullying him. I have power over him and I can fire him anytime I want so he can't do anything to me. I tried helping him and in return he witch slaps me so I have no respect for him. Why am I being accused of bullying him when he is the one being the jerk? Am I really a jerk?

You have the power over him and you will not hesitate to (mis) use it just to prove your point. You are a rotten boss that should never have gotten this position because you lack the most basic comprehension of human interaction.

You may know a thing or two better than he does when it comes to your job but you clearly fail miserably when it comes to acting like a manager.

You should never have been given this position because you don't know how to use it in a decent way.

Just because you don't agree with his lifestyle does not give you the right to bully him.
