One of the most frustrating things I have experienced in my life is how most people I have met do not listen to me. No matter how knowledgeable I may be on a topic, a majority of people seem to think I know nothing and choose their own decisions based purely on stubbornness. I hate that with the utmost passion. What is worse is when I am proven correct, they get mad at me for being right in the first place.

I hate stubborn people. They have no compromise to anything and generally don't care what anyone else thinks. They are only happy when they get what they want at the expense of others. Dating a stubborn person has to be one of the worst scenarios. I do not find stubborn people interesting or fun.

Case in point: Took a foreign woman shopping yesterday. She was bound and determined to go a specific mall on the far side of the city just to go shopping when we could have gone to several closer ones. She wanted to buy a good, durable winter coat but ended up buying everything else but that. I strongly suggested several types of coats for her, being I am from the far north of the United States...I should know how to keep warm right? No takers, she told me that men cannot know how to shop for women. Damn. I won't take her shopping again.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

One a different note, is it true that men cannot understand how to shop for women?

I am asking this because I waited till marriage . So my first relationship was within marriage. But it didn't work. Would you stop dating me or not get into a relationship with me based on me being divorced? Please explain your answer in text if you can.
