Girls you probably know way better than the boys on this one.
I have known this girl for almost 2 years now. I have had a crush on her since a few months after I first met her. The problem for the first year was that she had a boyfriend. I always thought this was stupid because 1. He is a year younger than her and 2. One of the only things I saw they had in common was being on the ultimate team. A year ago I had found out she had broken up with him and I started asking her on dates. We went to lunch several times and to the movies once until I asked her to winter formal to which she said yes. We went and had an ok time. After the dance she said she didn't want to lead me on anymore and said she was too busy for a relationship. She also said maybe something could work out possibly. The following week we went out to lunch to talk about it. I seemed more keen on getting into a relationship than she was. In a way she sorta shoved me off, using the excuse that she was too busy with AP tests and the SAT. I'm afraid of telling her what I'm really feeling due to the rejection aspect. I've only had one relationship before this in middle school which probably can't be counted on a relationship to begin with. To this day I don't know what to think and if I should even try to get her anymore due to the fact that she might be too good for me. Any advice would be great, thanks.
