Surely our more elderly and seasoned politicians and Americans remember the last decades of the Cold War. Has the fear of Russia sneaking its tendrils throughout the globe to work counter to the United States melted? Nuclear war is a real possibility.

The United States' most sacred part of its democracy -- its free elections -- were sabotaged by their long-time enemy, Russia. Not only that, but today Donald Trump Jr. himself validated that he sought to have the Trump campaign join in the attack by secretly meeting with the Russian government that had dirt on Clinton as well as nefarious intentions of wreaking destruction on Election Day.

What the actual fuck?

People who betrayed their country like this used to be lined up shoulder to shoulder and shot dead! This is treasonous territory! How come nobody seems to acknowledge that? It's always "No, that's fake news! Lies! Onward with the Republican agenda!" or "Wow, with this we could make a case for obstruction of justice and impeach the President! Let's throw this nutcase out! Onward with the Democratic agenda!" It's never "Its obvious there is collusion and obstruction of justice at play here. Let's appropriately investigate and punish all at fault accordingly. Russia will pay for this. We should protect ourselves and our rights as a free people of a democracy and band together for the sake of the country, not political party!" Hell, even Mike Pence, who seems innocent, should be in jail for not reporting such treasonous acts upon knowing of them (reminded on repeated occasions), as he is obligated to as the Second to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States.

For he who is silent to evil is just as guilty.

I don't know, I'm ranting. I don't want to have a big political debate about petty shit, but can we at least agree that George Washington was right on the fucking dot when he warned us of the dangers of political parties in his Farewell Address, not too many hundred years ago? 🤔
