I just don't know what to do anymore. We're all juniors in high school and he dated this girl last year who dumped him later on. She says that she never really liked him but felt bad cause he went through hell and back to get with her. Well she dumped him and I started liking him this year. I have one class with him and his ex, him and I sit on the same table together. She is always laughing and joking around with him and is basically playing him and I just feel so bad. The other day one of her friends dragged me in the conversation asking me if I know that they're back together. I felt bad and didn't say anything but they both denied it. Her friend kept saying that and dragging me in this conversation and he got really mad and told her to stop saying such things. Then I just ignored them and was watching a video and started giggling. He started laughing and so I looked up and asked him what happened and he was just like "that giggle though" and I started giggling again and he was just like "yep that one". We talk sometimes cause we normally like to make fun of one of our mutual friends when she's there and this one teacher who hates both of us and we don't love him either. I followed him on insta and he followed back and always liked whatever I post. He always laughs at my jokes and tries to get me to say things that I can't pronounce. I asked one of his friends if he still loves his ex and he told me that he still likes her but not as much as he used to. I want to tell him but his friend and my friends told me to wait a few weeks. What do I do?
