Search Results: long distance relationships work

I've am a teenager in my second last year of high school. I met this guy through one of my close friends who is mutual friends with him through other people. We have been talking for the last month: video calling, calling and texting and he asked me out on a date. I think I really like him and his pretty tall and mature for his age but he is still a year and a half younger than me and two years below in high school ( Keep in mind that I am the youngest in my year and I could have been in the year below). He also lives an hour away, two by train. He said his willing to come up here or we can meet half way or i could go to him as there is public transport. I also get my Ps next year. While I dont really care as much about the age difference as it hasn't proved to be a problem, I'm not sure how my parents will react. Do you think a relationship with such an age difference can work as teenager, especially with the long distance factor coming into play?
