Seeing as how the guy in Los Angeles nicknamed the "dine-and-dash" dater, 45yo Paul Gonzales, has now been sentenced to 120 days in jail, three years of probation, and a lifetime ban from using any dating apps or websites ever again, for his heinous crime of asking women out to restaurants, leaving before paying and forcing the women to foot the bills (of $950, with ten different women over the course of two years), doesn't that mean that women should be held accountable in the same way as well now? Shouldn't women who do this on every date they go on also be charged with "defrauding and petty theft" for doing this, and handed jail sentences for it too?

I went on a date this week and a woman was telling me that she didn't like a previous date she was on because the man insisted on paying for her dinner, walking to her car, and opened the car door for her. She was a liberal feminist. She was saying, "Why would I need someone to walk me to my car? What is the point? I can do it on my own. That is so patriarchal! A man doing that is sexist!"

I went home that night and got a text message from my best friend who is a woman. She was telling me, "I am tickled pink when a guy wants to walk me to my car and be a total gentleman. i can take care of myself, but I love it when a guy goes to do those little things. It draws out my feminine side... I feel like I can relax because I'm looked out for... He puts his arm around you when he sees other guys checking out his girl, opens doors, carries things that are super heavy."

I am a man who is a feminist. I am TRULY trying to understand women and respect what they want. But how am I supposed to be a good man when women give two completely different visions of what a good man is?

Why is it that when you date a feminist she treats you with hostility for walking her to her car as if you are a misogynist pig and she represents what women think? We as men are just trying to please women yet we face vitriol for doing so!

Why is it that the modern feminist woman acts high and mighty as if she as a feminist owns the truth about what women want? Could it be that by treating women who have different views as "backward", they are therefore disrespecting their own gender in a hypocritical way?
