Do you believe that all men or women cheat?

I was talking to my friends with benefits and we where discussing our reluctance to be married.
°My stance is that: After having numerous married men hit on me and attempt to date me I'm begining to lose faith in marriage because people in my generation dont understand being faithful. Cheating at least continuously is not something I would tolerate in a relationship because if I wanted to sleep with other people I would stay single.But I think both men and women if they are devoted to a relationship can be monogamous
° His stance is that all men cheat. They eventually get bored and its in they're nature to want to have sex with other women. And basically monogamy is almost impossible its better to be in a relationship with a man who cheats then to be alone.

what's you're stance on this

I don't know about you, but I take this very seriously. Lets just be real: there are far too many self-absorbed, tacky, tactless, grimy, sleazy guys and gals out there who will abandon all sense of integrity to snatch someone away from their significant other. It happens ALL the time. Some people really just have no moral compass or a very weak moral compass and they don't mind decreasing the good in them so long as it means getting the one they want. As long as you have a loyal, faithful significant other who respects your feelings and values the relationship, no common sleazy jerk is just going to be able to snatch them away. However, I think it's very important that the significant other boldly makes it clear that said-Skank does not have a chance and their sleazy advances will not be tolerated so they should give up hope.

Now, I may be biased because I am so incredibly loyal to a fault. I won't even acknowledge my attraction to another guy out of pure respect and honor for my man's feelings. When guys hit on me, I not only turn them down and tell them I have a boyfriend, but I give non-verbal queues with my eyes, facial expression, and tone of voice expressing that they will not be getting me and no further attempts will be tolerated. I'd like for my boyfriend to do the same. I don't like that he indirectly gives the girl hope by not boldly, blatantly letting her know that he is taken and the disrespect of her being flirty or showing further interest will not be tolerated. When he doesn't demonstrate that behavior, it makes me very angry with him. Is that unreasonable? What can I say to let him know that it's not okay? Or do you think it's okay for him to respond to them like that?

What are your thoughts on this post? Any personal experiences?

For those of you who still believe in marriage as an institution - more so the "till death do we part" part of it and the being faithful, I have a question.

What about if your partner cheated?

I know, most people would say, "Well, my spouse would never cheat" but you know what? It happens.

So I'm curious. This is a question I was asking myself today and I find myself struggling.

I always have the thought that I want my first marriage to be my only marriage and I want it to last well into old age until we're literally parted by death. But then I got to thinking that I simply could NOT stay with him if he cheated. No way no how.

So you can see how the two thought processes are conflicting.

It's like the vows should be, "I take you to be my lawfully wedded husband in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, till death do us part unless you cheat on me 'cause then this promise is null and void."

The above "vow" is not at all a good one. So it's a good think I'm no where near getting married lol.
