Hey all. :) So in 2 or 3 months time, I'll be getting kittens for the very first time with my mother. She is 49 and I am 18. She owned a cat about 7 years ago but she died 2 years later due to an accidental fall that couldn't of been prevented. Fortunately, we've gotten money together and I have decided to make her dream come true and get 2 kittens as she's always wanted another cat.
My mother wants 2 boy kittens from the same litter (brothers) and I agreed with her, until today... My sister came over and she's 30 years old. She said that getting 2 boys is a very bad idea, especially young kittens. She said they'll fight and probably end up killing eachother and that has turned me off of getting two boys. She's never owned cats before so I doubt she knows what she's talking about!
My mom still wants 2 boys (brothers) but now I'm warming up to getting a boy and a girl (bro and sis)... We're kind of torn because of what my sister has said!
If anyone here has owned cats from the same litter but different gender from kittens (2-3 months onwards) please give your advice and tell me if my sister is wrong or right. :) Thank you.

Hello! Now, I'm the kind of person that likes consulting stuff with others before taking big decisions. And who better to consult than the lovely people of the internet. And... it is ironically fitting for the "thing" I am desperately trying to figure out.

As the title might have given out, I have been in a "relationship" for a little over a year (who am I kidding, almost two friggin years!?!) with a guy that lives on the other side of the planet. And besides the obvious uneasiness of not being able to see each other, I feel.. empty. I love him to pieces but I feel like he doesn't return my feelings completely, if not at all. But the thing is, everytime I would break up with him, he would always come back and ask for another chance. You would think that after each breakup he would learn from his mistakes (Ugh. And I am a very tolerant person, and I don't usually care about other people's mistakes... but this guy just grinds my gears!*mutters*), but noooooo...

They got worse.

He never shows me his true feelings, yet he sometimes talks so sweet to me that I have to pinch myself to see if it's only a dream. Or he would be really cold, and ignore me or talk with curt replies. He is just so confusing... I have been having a really rough time ever since I got in this relationship, but I can't make myself forget about him. It hurts when I'm with him and have him send me mixed signals, but it hurts even more when he's not there.

Probably not the best explanation ever, but I am kind of super embarrassed already as it is for sharing this on here. Imagine if I had to put all of the cheesy and sad and pervy *cough* details that might give you a better insight of everything that has happened up until now.

So me and my ex broke up (we both decided on it). It's a long story, but I still love him. And he still loves me. He seemed upset about the break up, and not sure upon getting back together. My best friend talked to him, and he was quite uncommunicative, but was just a bit surprised that she "ships" it. I gave him a note saying that I wanted to get back together, but he threw it out (most probably because his friends knew what was written in it.) He even tried begging his friend (I heard and saw him) to get us back together, but his friend disagreed, but finally told me my ex wanted to talk. Later on I asked my ex if it was true and his friends all looked at him and he said "No.. he just said that."

ONTO THE POINT.
Last night I had a dream that my ex wanted to talk, and we ended up getting back together.

I've been hearing that sometimes dreams may predict the future. I would like to know if this dream may come true. I hope so.
