When she turned away from us he stroked the palm of my hand. I closed my hand on his. He pulled his hand away when she turned back. Recently he asked me, "Where's your tan?" I said, "I know. Us Irish ones are all white". He then said, "Now that's not entirely true. Look at me". He put his arm out. I put my arm against his. I asked him, "OK then what bottle were you using?" He laughed and said, "No I wasn't using a bottle. That would mean that I would be spending money" and we laughed. I then asked him for a photo. He said, "You want a selfie?" and I said, "Yeah". He said to me, "Get up". I didn't get what he meant so he said, "Get up" again. I then caught on he meant because I am small. I then jumped 3 times and me and him laughed. I then mentioned my ex to him and I noticed that the whole time we were talking about my ex, he didn't look at me once. He didn't look at me again until we stopped talking about my ex

So I met this guy about nine months ago. At first I was just very laid back and he was very keen. Then after about a months of talking we practically spent the while week together and I had the most amazing time with him which led to my feelings for him increasing. But soon afterwards he was having issues with his family and acted stand offish. Which I got but at the same time I could tell something else was wrong too. I confronted him and asked him what was going on and that led to an argument as I felt he wasn't being completely honest with me. He then stayed abroad with family for about two months and we lost touch after I kept trying to stay in contact to see how he was.

Then around three months ago I was dating someone else and he text me out of the blue and then after a few words ignores me. And I feel like this is a pattern with him. Whenever I start to forget about him he messages me out of the blue to see how I am or comments on how nice my photos are. So about a month ago I suggested we meet for a catch up and he agreed to it. He apologized for what happened and we had a good time. He revealed that around the same time his ex wanted to get back. with him and was confused as he really liked me. I also think he expected me to go home with him and was surprised when I went home alone... but now we rarely speak again. I messaged him two weeks ago and he just said he was busy which seems be all the time. So I'm bot bothering anymore. Haven't heard from him since but he views all of my statuses. He said he likes me but he clearly doesn't like me enough so I'm trying to. move on. But I can't get over him when he's constantly viewing my statuses and I don't want to seem petty blocking him. What else can I do to get over him? Because I've only known him. nine months but the first few was quiet an intense period. And it doesn't seem like online dating is working for me anymore.
