There's two guys I know. Both brothers. Only a year apart in age. I've known them for a couple of years.

The oldest one first displayed signs of liking me. I am oblivious when it comes to these things, not good at reading signs at all, but my friends noticed his "obvious" attraction towards me. He would find ways to be around me, and blush around me, and stare at me when I was across the room or talking to my other guy friends, stuff like that. However, here lately that's stopped. I don't know if he's just gotten better at hiding his feelings or if I've now been stuck in the friend zone or if he's starting to give different signs that I, of course, am not picking up on.

We hang out a lot and we're good friends, he tells everyone I'm his sister. I don't know how to read him, though, he's a very complicated person. What makes it even harder is that he treats all girls practically the same. As in, he hugs and jokes around with and is super friendly with all girls. He's not flirty, that's just him. So now he's basically treating me the same as any other girl (besides calling me his sister).

The younger one is more awkward and reserved. I haven't really gotten to know him well until recently. The three of us always hang out but the younger one just cracks jokes and whatnot, not really letting you know the real him. Here lately I think we've been becoming good friends, though. He talks more to me and seems a lot more comfortable. Because of his reserved nature, though, I don't think he's the type of person to give off obvious signs of liking someone. I already suck with picking up on obvious signs, let alone subtle ones!

Do you think either of these guys could have an interest in me? Judging by the descriptions I gave of them, what sort of signs do you suggest I look out for?

I know I'm not ugly. I'm cute enough that I catch men staring for long periods, eyeing my body and hair and doing double/triple takes when they think I'm not looking. I get hit on a lot , but, bless them, none of them are my type or that I find attractive. And these guys that do hit on me I notice tend to be a little desperate (hit on every girl that's decent looking) I need at least a little sexual attraction/chemistry for a healthy relationship to work. Or else we are just friends. Now there are these other men I run into who I am very attracted to. Very masculine, they have a handsome face and very fit bodies (fit bodies *yum*) and these guys too, check me out, more discretely tho. I'm friendly, outgoing and people say I'm sweet. But these guys I'm attracted to never make a move. They smile, are nice, perhaps pay me a compliment, if that and are gone. Its almost like I'm not their type or something. And no I don't flirt back other than friendliness cuz I dont want to like embarass them if they aren't into me. I'm just polite and slightly more formal than usual with these attractive guys, because also they may have a gf and again I dont want to offend them. But if these attractive, confident men check me out and are friendly to me, why do they never hit on me/ask me out, or show more interest? All the good guys are taken! :(
