So the guy I was dating and I were together for like 10 days and we broke up because of living far and he "wasn't feeling it". Ofc I still wish we could've lasted but I'm fine. The thing is, he has been asking me a bunch of stuff, being in my biz, and people don't even believe we're broken up. Some think that we'll get back together after winter break or something, I don't know.

I was dating this guy, but ended things because he didn't know what he wanted. Now, I realized that I still like him very much and still want to be with him, despite his faults. Anyhow, I found out through mutual friends that he is seeing someone. It's not serious afaik, and apparently she is moving too fast for him - she's treating it like a long-term relationship. But he's just going to treat it as something meaningless to him (as told by mutual). I also found out that he did regret losing me, but didn't understand why I ended things. We were together for almost a year, and after I ended things, he got with her soon after, and a lot of people were surprised by that. He also met her on Tinder, so it wasn't like he knew her before. Anyhow, I contacted him recently, just to catch up. Not once did he mention the other girl he was seeing (bad or good sign?). Secondly, he hasn't initiated any texts with me (mostly bad), but responded to all of the texts I sent him. He also hasn't declined any requests to meet up, but he's kind of flakey for example, "I'm pretty busy this weekend, but I might be free blah blah" Our relationship didn't end on bad terms either. But I'm afraid he didn't take this break as serious as I did, and just found another rebound to shut his emotions away. We have plans to meet up soon, but I don't plan on bringing the other girl up at all. Also, it's weird because the girl and I have the same first name.. (like what). And if we do meet, I am going to just play it cool, not going to bring up any relationship stuff or anything serious like that.

TL;DR: Guy I dumped got a rebound girlfriend, can I steal him back?

Anyhow, I miss him, and cherish what we had, so is it possible to start over with him even though he's seeing someone else? Or should I just leave him be with this new girl?

guy friend of 2 years eft a few days ago. he put it off for a while and he tried to get me to ask him to stay but i couldn't... last time he tried was the last i saw him. he didn't even say good bye but left me a note saying he's been in love with me since we met and a whole bunch of explanations about miscommunication and reasons he never said anything. it all makes sense and i know how difficult things were especially because i've always been very uncomfortable with expressing feelings and feeling them. i never told him i'm in love with him too. i know its probably kind of too late to be together bc he left and probably decided to move on bc i never gave any indication i'm interested in more, but i still want to tell him how i feel. i know some of you will say i should leave him be but its important to me to tell him so i've decided. i'm going to take a trop to see a friend and on my way i'm stopping in his home town. ask him if we can talk. if he says no i have a letter to give him he can read it or not in his own time.

i'm tempted to just go to his house and if its a bad time i can stop by on my way back. we've never been good at organizing things by phone and i'm concerned hell think its a trick and not show up, whereas seeing me seems to have a calming effect most of the time... however if its not one of those times if he's hurt/ defensive, and i show up he might be angry hell refuse to talk, so I don't know.

he did show up at my house without telling me and walked in without even knocking to tell me how he felt, so i wouldn't technically be doing anything worse especially since ill knock.

honestly id just like to get this done in as few steps as possible. if i just show up he's there or not and i can give the letter if not. ill probably never see him again so i feel like i can afford to do one big thing once. plus if he actually has been in love he should be glad to see me-no? i also feel like its braver to just show up. i want to BE there. not ask.
