My boyfriend and I broke up 3 weeks ago.

Immediately after the breakup, he told me that he wasn't sure of our decision. I agreed to take some time to think about it.

Two weeks of silence followed. I used to bump into him during the weekend because we hang out at the same places. He was drunk almost every time. At first we sat and talked for like half and hour when we saw each other.

But then I asked him if we could stop talking to each other at all because I needed to move on. He agreed, even though he wasn't happy about it.

A week later, I bump into him again and just wave hi with a smile (in order to implement the No Contact rule :P). I think he took it badly because the next day he calls me and asks if we could talk.

I agreed to have a drink with him, and he said he wanted me back. His friends made him realize that I was the one who allowed him to be stable (he has problems in his life) and that he was stupid to let me go.

We had a great evening and we talked about everything that was wrong in our relationship and how to fix it. He texted me casually the next day.

I'm just not sure if his intentions are really good. Should I wait to see if he's going to put enough effort in winning me back? Or is it obvious that I have to let him go?

Im crazy about this guy i knew in high school i will call him joe.
Joe and i had a fling but he then moved away and we kept in touch over the years. I never told joe how i felt about him because i was always too shy.

I finally got the courage and told joe last October.. He never replied so i took that as a rejection. Still thought about him and then five months later he messaged me saying hey and asked for my number

He called me internationally and we talked.. He told he he's been depressed and he hates living where he is. He asked me questions about myself, my family, my love life and kept saying i needed to come visit where he was. He then said he felt the same way about me but we couldn't have a successful relationship because of the distance. :( then he said we would keep in touch through Facebook and said bye sweetie.

Im currently in a relationship and i told him that... And he hasn't talked to me since... I tried saying "hey joe, how aree you." On Facebook and he never replied.. :((

Im taking a break with my boyfriend now just because i feel so confused and what i was doing was not right.

Why is joe ignoring me? Should i try talking to him again?

I've known him for a month, and we were together four times, for hours. Our feelings developed stronger than we both anticipated in such a short amount of time.

I talked to my parents about him, of how much I was happy, and everything. But when I told them he is (31) and I am (25), the fact he lives at home (he's helping his family), and has no car and no license (cause of speeding). They don't feel comfortable with me dating him.

I understand their concerns and worries, but he makes me feel special, he cares about me, he enjoys spending time with me. I mean we literally talk every single day, whether it be text or over the phone.

Anyway, I tried so many ways to get my mom okay with my dating him, I even suggested that he would meet them so he can set their minds at ease and see that they misjudged him.

I really had no choice which isn't fiat to me or to him, cause I'm not even going to get the chance to see what could have happened. So I had told my mom that, I am taking a break from dating/relationships and I am going to focus on getting a good job, and try to re-discover myself. Of course it upsets me, cause it means I won't see the guy I love but I am not about to life and go behind my parents back to see him. And If I say I am seeing him anyway, there's going to be all this hostility living with my parents. I can't bear the thought, it's hard enough as it is.

So I have to end it, and hope that maybe there's a chance we will be together again. Problem is I don't know how. He was my first boyfriend for a week, I don't know if that counts. And he says, "if you give up on us my heart will be crushed."

HELP!!!

Also I'd move out but I don't have enough income yet, I need a better job.
