He broke up with me coz we argued too much and so he was not happy anymore in the relationship
He treated me right most of the times and never cheated on me. he's a really good guy but sometimes I go over the top with being dramatic
We were together for 1 and a half years
But he still wants to be "friends"
So he still tries hard to stay in touch with me and to see me often
He contacts me several times a week (even some are random messages and calls)
He tells me whats going on in his life, etc
He initiates hanging out (to movie, to go out to eat, etc)
Nothing sexual
He isn't seeing any other girl since he just wants to focus on himself and his dream career
So anyway, its been over a month and I've been thinkng of cutting it off because I still have feelings for him
I just want to be more than friends :(
But he wanted to come with me and my friends to this Easter event next week and he already bought the tickets
So I was thinking of sending this message after that event:
"Hey, so I've been thinking these past few weeks, and want to let you know that I don't think I can just be friends with you. I still have feelings for you. I just want to really move on. you're a good guy. So I hope you will find someone that will make you happy and who you can really commit to. Bye, take care and good luck with everything"
And then I'll block his number and delete him on social media to avoid hearing back from him
Is this too harsh? Or good idea?

Before we broke up, he moved to a new apartment and his new housemate is a female
She has a boyfriend but they dont live together
Even when we were still together, he would tell me everything she's says and does
So anyway, its been over 1 month since we broke up
But we still hang out together to movie, to special events, etc
He always tells me whats going on with him and his life
And he tells me about his housemate
He told me these things:
- he found out that she has herpes
- he said she asked if he wanted to hang out but he said "no"
- she would dress skanky and would always ask him "how do i look in this?" And he would tell her "why u asking me? Ask ur boyfriend"
- he would tell me thats she's stupid sometimes and attention seeking

Why does he tell me these things?

We were together 1 and a half years
We both love watching movies so we still go to the cinema often together even after the break up
So anyway tomorrow there's a new movie coming out
He texted me today:
Him - hey u wanna go watch the movie tomorrow night?
Then I didn't reply for 2 hours coz of work
Then he messaged again:
Him - its okay if you can't, ill still go anyway, just let me know asap please
Then he messaged on facebook messenger:
Him – look at your message
And then I saw it 20 mins later, and I replied:
Me – yeah sorry im at work, I wanna watch it too. What times the movie?
Him – same 9pm
Then I didn’t reply
Then he messaged again saying:
Him – you still at work? Should I book it tomorrow?
I was going to reply to him until he messaged me on facebook messger:
Him – I think you're busy, don’t worry, ill go by myself, at least reply to my messages, nevermind, take care
Then he blocked me
And then I called him:
Me – whats wrong with you?
Him – you didn’t reply to my messages. Took you 3 hours to reply.
Me – I was at work
Him – Yea but you could’ve replied too
Me – seriously?
Him – do you want to go watch it tomorrow with me or no?
Me – I told you I want to watch it too. You blocked me just then didn’t you?
Him – Yeah just now
Me – why?
Him – because you were ignoring my messages
Me – Omg I was at work
Him – okay anyway ill see u tomorrow then
Me – okay
And then I checked my messenger and then he unblocked me
Whats wrong with him? Whats his problem? Like did I do something wrong here?
