Search Results: confused by an ex

What my ex want from me...does he really want a relationship or a booty call when he feels like it? What should I do about the other two sweet, funny beautiful guys who just so far want me to be happy?

This is the story: My ex and I were together for almost 4 years when he broke up with me over a friend pretending to propose to me at my birthday party. He said that I let him be embarrassed and that I chose hanging out with my friends over him. It was a horrible first year because not only were we intimate over those almost four years but he was the only person that I had ever seen my future with at the time.

another year passed by and he asked me to help him get into the university that I was attending at the time. because of that we became friends...actual friends...i was seeing someone else at the time. off and on we started sort of seeing each other an it always ended as us being intimate and then me realising some folly of his...the last one being that he was seriously dating another girl from his home town and never told me...that ended things for good...or at least that's what I thought.

i graduated uni and since then he would call and say that he's thinking about me a lot. that I'm constantly on his mind. for Christmas he asked for another chance...AGAIN...and before I had a chance to think about it my best girl friend intervened reminding me of all the pain and sorrow I went through with this guy. and since grads I have been fighting feelings for two other guys who have recently declared battle for my heart.

now the ex wants to take me out to dinner next weekend to show me how much he's changed in high hopes that I'd give him a second chance.

I'm confused by his actions especially when I think about how mean he has been to me in the past. I'm a brain (nerd) as my two best friends love to say and he was always intimidated my that. He would call me names and try to belittle me in some way. Because of this I'm not emotionally attached to him but because of the fact that we have history it makes me confused.
