Search Results: getting bad comments

So I got a Monroe a few weeks ago and I really like it. I'm not a "bad girl" or a "skank", I just think it adds a cute accent of individuality to my face and matches my style, however, I've been getting ridiculed for it. This guy made fun of me and said that typically Monroe's are associated with a "certain kind of women". So I guess my question is do you think I should take is out so I don't "bother" people, or should I keep it. Also do guys mind them? Given that said guy also made comments about how It would be awkward to kiss with it. Tell me what you think.

I've been up and down with my moods for about 4 years now. I'm nearly 18 and getting quite sick of it but can't help it.
I used to self harm, but stopped because I couldn't hide it from people anymore, and it's embarrassing when people find out..
I don't know what to do anymore, I'm at the point where I constantly think about ending my life. I just really need help and I know that's a start to getting better but I can't seem to take the next step.
I asked my bloody doctor about it and he shook it off. He pretty much said I'll get over it, it's just a phase. But honestly... a 4 + year phase? and at the point of suicide? I don't think that's a phase I think it's time for help.
I have no motivation, I've lost interest in my hobbies, I often go through bad things, it seems I'm prone to bad events.
I don't know how to deal with it anymore, I just need some honest opinions and advice, to help me.
It's not for attention, purely for help. So please no rude comments.

This guy kept pushing me away and hurt me pretty bad. I told him I had feelings for him and he kept telling me I was "obviously infatuated" with him, that he was just the first guy I had really gotten to know, I only liked him because he reminded me of someone else, etc... basically he refused to believe me, kept dismissing my feelings andmaking excuses for why I "really" liked him. He even said he wasn't attracted to me at one point... After I started moving on and I noticed he looked really upset/angry and after he kept making passive/aggressing comments I confronted his best guy friend and found out he really cared about me, had cared about me the entire time but his insecurities kept him from believing "a girl like me" could really like "a guy like him"- whatever that means- and after having been cheated on and hurt by his last girl friend, he was afraid to get hurt again by giving me a chance- but now that he's realizing he's about to lose me, he realized how wrong he was and wants to make amends if I give him the chance. I want to believe his guy friend is telling the truth and give him a second chance, but I'm afraid of getting pushed away and hurt again...
