I had to ask in the form of a question ... ugh.

So... yeah. True means 'yes' and false means 'no.'

I plan on doing one of these questions every so often unless I get a friendly message from a moderator telling me to "shut the f*** up with the stupid, useless ass questions."

I say YES. I refuse to eat any other kind. Maruchan Chicken is the one I eat. Mmm... I don't think I'm alone, because any time I go to the grocery store the chicken kind is spilled everywhere while all the other ones like shrimp (gag) are organized all nice-like.

So I just got blocked by a QA for the first time since joining this site. It was kind of surprising as I hadn't really crossed any lines, I simply disagreed and told him that he was wrong about something. Anyway, he said some rude things back (nothing hurtful or obscene, simply rude) and blocked me so that he looks like he got the last word.

So I'm wondering, should we be allowed to block people JUST because they don't always agree with us? Sure we need a mechanism to prevent harassment and blatant belligerency, but if a respectful exchange is going on, I think that the moderators should be able to override it so as not to silence opposing views.

So what do you think?

Ok so I'll use slang when I post from time to time. I certainly only capitalize my "i's" when its the first of the sentance. Although I do know that it is not proper grammar. Not sure why I do it, but I just do...lol

Sometimes I see these posts and its like "wtf did that person just say"...I'm sure you've come across them.

Then I've seen posts get erased for improper spelling.

So I guess it comes down to this. If GAG admins, moderators, whatever are going to erase these kind of questions with issues, why not add spell check? At least the ability to right click and give an option if you are unsure how to spell the word.

I still have yet to figure out why that hasn't been added.

Do you think they should add spell check when asking a question or replying to one.

I think they should. that's just my opinion. Maybe it will help some of those less fortunate who have issues but aren't that great with grammar.

I know I'm not perfect, but seriously, some people are unfortunate and unable to get proper education for many reasons, why not help them instead of erasing...
