I’ll give a little bit of back story.

I met this one friend of mine at through the marine corps. And when we finished training he was telling all the guys and myself that he was going to be getting a motorcycle. At the time and including now he did not have a car or truck. All my other buddies and myself all suggested him to get a car first and then the bike given that it sucks ass not having a car when it’s freezing cold or when it’s raining. I for one ride also, I have a Harley and there was only one time where I got caught in the rain while riding and when I hydro planed I made the conscious decision to never be on my motorcycle when it rains cause it’s scary af.

Anyways, supposedly a few weeks ago he went on leave to see his family and while at home it was raining and he took his Yamaha R6 for a spin... he was supposedly going 100+ mph and he got in a really bad accident leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. The last I saw of him was a picture of him laying in a hospital bed hooked up to an oxygen tube, multiple IV’s and heart monitors... on his snapchat story. According to my friend he broke his back in three different sections and is now a vegetable. It breaks my heart cause the dude had so much more of his life ahead of him. He was 21 and just started his career with the marines. And now he is going to be forever bound to a bed for the rest of his life. I hope he fully recovers but given his injuries I doubt that will happen

I stood up for a girl I didn't really know who was getting picked on by the high school asshole. She looked like she was going to cry and it really pissed me off. (I'm one of those people that try to be there for everyone). Anyway... the jerk rides the same bus she does so I offered to drive her home that day and she really liked riding in my car. Now whenever I see her she instantly blushes but were really good friends now. Should I ask her out forreal?
