Are they considered hispanic/lations? If so, why?
I read on here that many people consider italians as non-white and I wonder why. Maybe because the italian immigrants in the US came mostly from the south of Italy where people tend to be darker and have dark hair and eyes more often, but that's definitely a minority of italians.
I consider myself as white, I'm very pale, have dark blonde hair and light brown eyes. Most of my friends have light eyes and many of them are naturally blonde ( I live in the North).
When I think of latinos I think of someone with dark hair/eyes, tanned skin, someone from Spain or southern America.
I'll leave some picture of some italian actors/singers who look like typical italians.
