In my friend's case (she's a naturalized US citizen for 5 years now), her homecountry brought her nothing but misery, extensive trauma and unhappiness. She doesn't have close family members nor friends there. In addition, there isn't too much protection against abuse for women.

She really hates her homecountry and wishes to revoke it. She keeps thanking the US for giving her a job, improving her depression, giving her a chance to form a family (she's married by now with two kids) and overall have the good life she never had. She calls the US her home. If someone truly hates their homecountry and wants nothing to do with it (not even visit it), can they revoke their original citizenship after being naturalized in the US? Can that be done?

I have made multiple multiple questions about this situation and I just want to put a final end on getting peoples opinions opinions on it. It will really help me.
- I have known this laid back guy for 1.5 years we met online
- at the beginning things were good, we were flirting/ making sexual jokes (I went along with it)
- I was hesitant to meet him because I thought he wanted sex, I lead him on for awhile when it came to meeting up
- he gave me multiple chances with giving things a try
- we have argued a lot through out
- on our first date, he paid, it was quiet, got to know him a bit, made out with him. After our first date his answers on how it went was vague.
- after our first date shortly after I found out he hooked up with a girl, he told me he thought I wasn't serious.
- he asked me randomly to be his girlfriend in the summer time and we kind of left it.
- we tried to give things a go and then I got cold feet.
- when we weren't talking and i was going out with a guy he messaged me asking how my "bf" was
- we talked a lot about our past and how he told me he wanted to be with me and that he liked me. I told him the same. He told me a couple times he wanted to move on but I wanted him to give me one last chance. Anyways we went on our second date, I paid, got no thank you. We had nothing in common. We did make things official before our second date. After our second date he said it was fun, but he felt nothing.. ( he did told me he was in the mood during our date) He then told me after that we just went on 2 dates, that I was weird etc..

So there is this guy that I kinda like... If you haven't seen my posts about this please go read that here and here. It describes my initial position and who he is. Let's call this guy Jake. So Jake is 6' 5" tall, super friendly, and athletic like he plays football, basketball, and baseball.

He first expressed interest when I met him but slowly he seemed to lose interest while I have gained interest in him. Ironic right? Well, anyways I have been trying to get Jake's attention. I have been giving him glances, saying "hi" to him the halls, and do my best to just have a chance or reason to start a conversation. Sometimes when I look at him he looks back to be like "hey I see you". Also one time, my friends and I were waiting in line for food and he turned around at the mention of my name.

As a cripple, I still help out with Varsity soccer. Anyways, Varsity football and soccer had to share a field and soccer balls would fly over to them and the same with the footballs. At one point a football came towards me and I hobble over to it and when I turn around BAM! Jake's there. Keep in mind that he was much further than the rest of his teammates; he ran over to retrieve it. When the soccer balls would come towards him, he would jog over to them and try to do a behind the foot pass, a little trick to give it to me (super cute because he doesn't play soccer lol). It just seemed like he was interested.

When I found out that he had the same project topic as me, I asked Jake if he had any tips and he gave them to me said that he wanted me to do well on the project. I was so excited for the next day when I could talk to him but it did not turn out the way I wished it would. He only talked to me once and it was about the project. Then it seemed like the rest of the day he avoided talking to me.

Help, please! Is he just being friendly or does he genuinely like me?

I have known this guy for awhile from online. For the past little while that I've known him I've always go back and forth from seeing how things go.( for reasons i was concerned about) he stuck around with all that and kind of reassured things.

There were a few times where he told me lets move on but i still went on to say lets still give things a chance etc. he's still giving me a chance and I don't know if he's doing it to shut me up or he actually wants to.. even though he said he does

In 7th grade I became friends with this boy and never had any feelings 4 him. Until a friend said he was cute which I disagreed to atm but I started paying a bit more attention to him & noticed that it seems like he likes me? (stares, teasing, smiles, body contact, talking, treating me diff, etc) I was in denial of my feelings for him at first but I soon gave in and now I find myself with a crush (maybe more) on him. Now, we’re in 8th grade and he’s in my classes again and he still acts like he likes me specifically. My friends were completely convinced he had strong feelings for me too. Until, the convo came up about who we like & he was guessing everyone in our class and then stopped and said “wait.. it better not be me” but he didn’t say it seriously and I couldn’t pass up this opportunity so I boldly said “but it is” and then he was smiling but said he only saw me as a “friend” and I should consider this as a rejection. After that I ofc said it was a joke and I didn’t like him. But he said he liked a girl in 7th grade, still does that was in our class and gave me hints with the # of letters in their name and the only people who matched up w that was me and this other popular taken girl who he knows nothing about. I guessed her and he said it was but doesn’t know why he likes her. .-. Anyway, this was surprising bc prior to that, his bff was telling me he likes me and “has feelings for me” but he said it was a joke but it also wasn’t? And after that guessing game mishap, a few days later his bff gets the chance to talk to me alone. And he took that whole time telling me more about my crush & giving me info I NEVER asked for + trying to like persuade me to like him and date him in a way. “Imagine if you were together” “give him a chance” are some quotes from that convo. It was confusing af because I never even brought him up, he did. (THE REST OF THE TEXT IS IN THE PHOTO SORRY I TALK TOO MUCH SO IT’S SO LONG LOL)

It has probably been like 7+ times this guy has given me a chance to see how things go. We never were in a relationship but it has for sure been back and forth due to some things. He has told me he really likes me/ wants to be with me. I've spammed him a lot with messages and got my point across. There was one thing stopping us from giving things a try.
