So its a long story that ill simplify it i told his sister he was in a new relationship and it was parently "a secret" and implied in the message but i didn't understand that because if its a secret you should say its a secret not imply it. Then he wanted to admit i was wrong i dont ever do that... rarely i will admit that but i apologized multiple times

I just went on a huge online stalking spree to make sure I could never find out something new about my more recent ex again (I think I was successful).

My friends stayed at my place this weekend and they all know that I’m a crack when it comes to figuring out everything there is to know about people.
My best friends‘ sister wanted a demonstration, so I showed her how you can go from a not-too-generic first name and a hobby all the way to a birth date and sometimes a phone number (works in Central Europe because it’s small), but that wasn’t enough because she knew I didn’t care about that too much.

They had been pressuring me to show them what my most recent ex looked like and I caved. I was very surprised to find a picture I had never seen before, I didn’t want to look at the context more when they were around, but I think they got the message; there’s nothing exciting to find, just two old (2008) low quality group pictures, his birth date, some athletic achievements and his former work place.

I felt bad about myself for looking into this more today, but at the same time, I now feel like I know enough about him to say with 80% certainty that he votes for the SVP (most right-wing Swiss party) which is a reason to dislike him to some extent. To me, that’s a small win.
I don’t know what to feel.

My ex did something inappropriate (just taking the concept of friendship a bit too far and then blaming me saying I wasn’t over him 🙄 despite me being engaged) so I told him we couldn’t be friends anymore and that I was blocking him off my phone as that was for the best. I did this REALLY nicely.

No sooner do I block him and he changes his profile picture to him and a girl who he’s met once!! He hadn’t changed his profile pic for over a year before this.

Is he trying to piss me off or am I overreacting?
